Hey!Today we’ll talk about the Barry M Crushed Jewel Cream Eyeshadow
Barry M Crushed Jewel Cream Eyeshadow
So, Barry M is a British vegan-friendly makeup brand. Obviously, my products are vegan-friendly too.
The site had 8 shades which were completely different: neutral and fair as well as bright purple ones. I went for the shades #1 Duvet Day and #4 Fairytale.

Made in China
Packaging:
It’s rather simple. Just a see-through tube that allows control of the amount of the formula inside. It’s got a matte and soft-touch top cap.

The bottom part has a sticker with the shade name and number.

The applicator is average, not small or big. It’s rather soft and right what I need. The felt tip is great and doesn’t wear off during the use. Nice payoff.

Texture:
Soft, creamy and rather thick. But be quick to apply and blend it because the formula sets within seconds and it’s a problem to blend it out afterwards.

They’re tough to apply with a brush so I go for fingertip application. I guess the formula warms up between my fingers and applies smoother that results into simple blending.
The coverage is different. The darker shade is thicker while the light one is sheerer. If you want, you can pack the coverage and be sure there won’t be any cakey finish or anything like that. The setting is awesome.
Longevity:
Medium- The products can live through my working day and won’t smudge if I accidentally touch the coverage. They form a very thin film on my skin. It feels comfortable and never tugs my skin. This is due to that film the products stay put well.
The removing is easy-breezy with micellar water.
Shades:I have 2 shades in my collection - #1 Duvet Day and #4 Fairytale

#1 Duvet Day is a classy pearlescent shade with cool undertone and sheer coverage. However, if you pack it, you’ll get a beautiful white finish. I use it as an accent for my makeup when I pair it with darker shades or wear alone. Perfection for my mobile lids.
In the sun, if you look closer, you’ll see some spare shimmer bits. They don’t cheapen my makeup but on the contrary, make it appear more sophisticated.

This shade beautifully refreshes and makes me look wide awake.

#4 Fairytale is a noble orange-brick thick color that won’t show a beautiful transition, so make sure to blend it out properly with powder eyeshadows. :)I do it the following way: first, I apply it with my fingertip and then blend with powder eyeshadows so as to calm down the transition and get beautiful blending. As I’ve already said above, the finish is like from an eyeshadow primer because of the film it forms. So, any powder product will apply like a dream on top of it.
The light shade also has some small glitter in there.

The bottom line:
I love these eyeshadows and their texture. They can be used as primers or alone.
I’m also glad the texture sets completely because my skin is oily and some shades may smudge over it or transfer to immobile lids. :)If you’re looking for comfy and long-wearing eyeshadow, I can highly recommend these ones! :)Thanks for your attention! Let all your makeup experiments be successful ones:)
