Since I knew about the magical snails cosmetic products, I’ve been longing to have them. So, as far as I got the opportunity to buy it, I ordered some products by a famous Korean brand Mizon.
But in reality that cosmetic turned out to be not so miracle-making. For example, the BB-cream seemed too thick and fair, and the hero of our today's review is the nourishing cream that disimproved my at all problem skin.

Packaging
All the products of Snail Repair are done in one design - dark brown colors with a beautiful pic of a snail. The cream is packed in a thick glass jar, which was in a carton pack and sealed with mica leaf.
I know that many people will not like this packaging as constant touching of a product lets bacteria go inside. But I’m not concerned about that, moreover there was a small plastic spoon for taking the cream out which I gradually lost somewhere.
Besides the product is of quite unusual consistency - it’s a bit viscous, but at the same time not slimy. I like to touch it with my fingers and spread over my face.
The color is white, the scent isn’t strong and is associated with a simple cream without any special perfume.

To tell you the truth I don’t understand anything in ingredients but I want to note that on the third place after Snail Secretion Filtrate and Water goes mineral oil, which is known for its bad effect on problem skin. I regret that I haven’t noticed it before.
Snail repair perfect cream is very comfortable in use, it is easily spread on the skin and sinks in within 1-2 minutes. Besides, even if you apply more than sufficient, the product won’t roll down or fell as a thick layer. It’ll take a bit more time to sink in. After applying, the skin feels soft, more smooth and very pleasant to touch. Small peelings become smoother, dry and feelings (if they were before application) immediately disappear and at the same time there is no oily face effect as it usually happens with many nourishing creams. It really surprised me.
My skin type is problematic. The pores are highly enlarged, very often I’ve got acne, because of health problems as well as bad cleansing and using comedogenic products. Uneven skin tone, post acne spots. Sometimes because of lack of moisture and nourishing my skin is tend to dryness but I’ve also got oily shine during the day.
My impressions.
I bought that cream for nighttime skincare, as nourishing and moisturizing product but due to its light texture it works good as a morning skincare product as well. Foundation and powder make a good contact with it and during the day the product doesn’t provoke sebum coming, so the makeup doesn’t slide from it.
But there is a big BUT, because of which I had to turn the using of product down and give it a lower rating
The thing is that, the moment of using all the snails products that I ordered, coincide with the start of aggravation of deep acne on my face. In a week I decided that it was the fault of the “snails”and started intensive treatment. Later on, I found out that it was because of a health-related issue and after a long, but lucky deliverance with skin, I decided to come back to that line.
This time, I added all the products one by one (one product a month), to understand the impact of each product on the skin. That cream was the last, after that I determined that all other products didn’t make any bad impact on my skin. I used that product only as PM cream.
During the first week I couldn’t be even happier with the result, as my skin stopped showing me the evidences of lack of nourishing and moisture. I noticed that it had become looking better, so fresh and restful, not like after using any other nourishing creams. Then I started noticing a small acne outbreak, which spread very quickly on my face, within a couple of days, I can say. This time my health issue could be left out as my analysis results were great and I had to put the cream aside again. In a week my skin became normal again, with no additional treatment, which only proves that the Snail Repair cream was the exact reason for my acne. Now I use that product as a hand cream only.
Generally I want to note all the good and bad sides of the Mizon Snail Repair Perfect Cream:
+easy to apply and it sinks in quickly with no oily film
+no oily shining and it doesn't provoke skin sebum
+contacts well with makeup, so it can easily be used as an AM cream or primer
+nourishes deeply, moisturizes and smoothes
+makes your skin soft and pleasant to touch
-clogs pores and provokes deep subcutaneous rash
-not cheap
I think my verdict is understandable - I DON’T recommend SNAIL REPAIR PERFECT CREAM, especially for people who have skin problems, despite so many positive reviews of it.
