My heart leapt when I saw the Galifornia blush from Benefit, so I hurried to order it, and today I’m gonna tell you about it.
Such peach shades are perfect for summer. The design is divinely beautiful! I know there are many girls out there who dislike cardboard boxes from Benefit, but I like them for some reason. Thick cardboard, bright prints, solid magnet latches etc.
I didn’t buy a full-sized version of the blush because I own a lot of blushes already. That’s why, alas, my blush lacks that beautiful relief. If you haven’t seen it, take a look at it on the official website.
The brush in the mini-set is quite useless and tough. It makes the blush dust, plus its shape is not fit to draw perfect flushed cheeks.
I fell in love with this shade. It’s a very gentle ripe peach, which may look different on different persons. It looks warm on my skin, especially in real life. It’s highly pigmented too, and has an ultra-fine texture.
I cannot fail to mention its scent. That’s what the skin warmed by the sun smells like, with addition of grapefruit and vanilla. Delicious!
On my skin, it lasts about 8 hours. Those with oily skin types should be careful and look into the mirror from time to time, in order to avoid a patchy look after the blush has disappeared.
I also like applying this shade not only as a blush, but also onto the eyelids. That’s how I get a fresh and trendy makeup, made with one versatile product.
