Hey!
I’ve been using foundation with the matte effect mainly for the past few years. My favourites were Loreal Infallible and Maybelline Fit Me. When they were running low I thought about trying something new without this mattifying effect.
Honestly, I was sick of it already… My skin is always dry in winter and such foundations only emphasize these dry patches and make them even drier. So, I wanted to try a foundation that would impart my skin with a delicate glow.
As a result, I picked up Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue and Radiance Reveal Foundation.
I haven’t tested any foundations of this brand earlier, but I heard a great deal of good things about them.
After reading the product description, I was convinced, so I just had to choose the right shade.
I have fair skin and the shades like ivory or porcelain suit me well as a rule.
Actually almost all the shades in the range were dark and I doubted if No. 51 Vanille Clair would be good for me. Plus, there was no tester in the drugstore. I tested the shade No.52, but it would look better in the summer, when the skin would be slightly tanned. The sales assistant assured me that No. 51 would suit me perfectly, so I grabbed it.

On the packaging you can find the product description, ingredients and other information.
The design is gorgeous and everything is of good quality.
The bottle is made of glass, so it’s quite heavy. The cap is made of sturdy plastic and closes tightly with a click.
Moreover, I can’t help but say a few words about the very handy and convenient bottle. It has a pump, which performs smoothly and easily gives the right amount of the product.
It turned out that №51 Vanille Clair was perfect for me. At the beginning it seems to be a little dark, but then it adjusts to my skin well. I would call this shade light beige.
The peculiarity of this product is that it moisturizes your skin and imparts it with a beautiful glow.
There are fruit extracts and vitamins in the ingredients.
It has a peculiar smell that I haven’t had in other foundations of mine. It smells like luscious fruits very nice.
The foundation is not thick and can flow a little bit on my hand. However, I won’t call it liquid either.
The texture is nice, lightweight, not thick or melting.
Here is the comparison with other foundations for you to learn more about the shade. Maybe it will help you to choose the right shade when purchasing.
Properties
It spreads out on my skin well and doesn’t require much effort to blend it out. I usually apply it with my fingers. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any stains or streaks.
As I’ve said already, the shade adjusts to my skin tone perfectly and doesn’t have any hint of yellow.
It neither sets into my pores nor emphasizes my fine lines. My skin feels moisturized for real after application. When I have this foundation on, my skin is soft and silky smooth.
The coverage is medium. As far as you can see, I have acne scars on my bare skin, but the product has disguised it really well. However, if you have bigger problems with your skin, you’ll have to use a concealer too.
Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue and Radiance Reveal Foundation evens out my skin tone, covers up some imperfections and makes my face look healthier.
It’s gloomy outside now, so it is hard to show you the glowing effect in these pictures, but I hope you see it.
My skin glows gently and healthy. It looks like it glows from within.
If your skin gets a little oily after a few hours, this glow will probably intensify it, but it won’t look like an oily sheen. It’ll look well even in the evening.
It doesn’t conceal my pores or make it look less visible, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me.
This foundation doesn’t oxidize or get darker after application.
It feels very comfortable to wear it, so there is no mask-like effect.
If you have dry patches, it can emphasize it just a little. The staying power is good. It doesn’t bleed or fade showing all the imperfections on the skin after a few hours. However, the wear time up to 24 hours is actually not true.
In the picture below you can see that there is almost no difference between my face tone and my neck skin tone. Everything looks natural.
This foundation is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
I haven’t found any significant drawbacks, so I’m totally pleased.
If you are looking for a moisturizing foundation that would cover up some blemishes and make your skin glow naturally, I think you would love this option.
