Hello beauty junkies!
This is me with a review of one of the most liked eyeshadow palettes for an easy and quick makeup with Golden Goddess palette.
The product is rather basic but it still isn’t so traditional. This is its feature indeed.
Packaging:
Standard Charlotte’s plastic casing. It looks luxurious yet at the same time sleek with all its golden lettering.
Shades:
Prime - the fairest champagne shade. It’s basic for eyes though I still love applying it over my brow bones. I also use it over my eyelids to ease blending, leaving out the mobile lid area. This way, the colors look purer over it.
Enhance - this one is a cool-toned unbelievably beautiful satin gray-green-brown shade. This shade melted my heart with its complicated and expensive casting. It can be used for the crease but I love it all over my lids. I’m raving about it.
Smoke - deeply-toned bronze shade, which is the darkest in the palette. But in my book, it isn’t enough to darken the outer Vs or the lash line. It’s fine if you’re into gentle makeup but for a really deep shade, I recommend you using a brown or black eyeliner beforehand.
Pop - my favorite glitter. Apply it with your fingertip to the center of your mobile lid. However, I can also apply it more, outlining the crease for a beautiful dewy finish. It doesn’t fall out at all, so I use it for many of my makeups. It’s really neutrally toned and I guess it’s always in place.
Makeup:
When I hear them saying that this palette is only for daytime and basic makeups, I want to present those people with black eyeliner.
For instance, here’s my makeup with a black kajal along my lashline and golden specks.
And don’t forget about blending. Kajal liner can be always blended out wider.
And here’s an example of a simple yet still expensive looking basic makeup. It may look plain with a simple hair-do but if you add some texture to the roots of your hair, the cover girl is ready. :)
Overall:
This palette is perfect for newbies. I mean it! The shades are easy to blend out and they always look so expensive. Makeup junkies will appreciate it. It comes as no surprise that all the popular makeup artists definitely have Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palettes in their cases. :)And yeah, I’ll always stand for high-end makeup. It can never be duped with any mass-market products.
Dear readers, I’m calling for self-love. I wish you all have at least two good quality high-end eyeshadow palettes which will be there in your stash for your beauty and delight.
Yours, JennyMi
