I love Charlotte eyeshadows. No, not like this. I’m head over heels with them! I love them even more than the eyeshadows from ABH or Too Faced. When they announced the launch of this Stars-In-Your-Eyes palette I was literally screaming with delight. So, finally, here it is in my hands.
Packaging: Purple-colored plastic compact with a lot of glistening particles on. Inside there's a big mirror.
The palette comes with 12 shades, which are presented with gilded thirds offering quads.
- matte ivory shade;
- peach-gold metallic;
- matte peach.
- gilded shimmer with a colorless base;
- champagne shimmer shade, which is also with a colorless based;
- copper metallic.
- pink-red metallic shade with a golden shift;
- matte coral hue;
- matte coffee with milk shade.
- semi-sheer pink gold with silver sparkle;
- butter metallic shade with gilded hue;
- matte plum shade.
All the colors are so dialled up! This is why I worship them so much. I don’t have to think about how to make them matchy, because they are all perfect color-wise.
I was blown away at once when I saw this color combination. Nothing appears trivial or boring. And the most important thing is that I still hadn’t had such colors in my eyeshadow collection before.
And now, let’s talk about the characteristics of the products.
The previous palette from Charlotte (Instant Eye) was average pigmentation-wise. That was a good basic palette. But here everything’s different. The color kickback is insane!
The metallic shades are as though buttery by touch and blend into my skin so evenly.
The matte shades are soft and silky. They are a tad dusty, though comparing with the ABH eyeshadows, they dust nothing. They blend out with ease and I don’t see any patches or splotches afterwards.
The shimmering colors are very unlikely to be said complete. I mean, they work more than top coats and they will willingly fall out if you overdo them. Mind using a damp brush and light patting motions during application.

I’ll say rather traditional things about the longevity. You see, I always wear my eyeshadows over a gel or cream base. And then they all stay on very well.
Overall: the palette is perfect for everybody who adores luxury and glow. You don’t have to master some special skills to work with it. Charlotte’s makeup looks are always very simple yet impressive. They never require any complicated blending or anything. Just glow, color payoff and perfect color combinations.
The palette lives up to the style it has and I love it.
