The summer is almost over which means it’s time to turn to thicker foundations. And while revising my stash with them, I found out that everything wasn’t as good as it should be. Some of the items were even expired. Well, why not pamper myself with something new?
This time I decided to go for the Charlotte Tilbury foundation because before that I’ve never had any liquid products from her.
It was tricky to pick the shade online.

Smell: none
Texture: cream
About my skin: mixed, oily sheen-prone in my T-zone, acne-prone
Application: I apply it with the Cailyn brush. The formula doesn’t set quickly so I’ve got some time to blend it out. The formula is easy to pack, it covers up my skin blemishes and nicely adjusts to my skin color.
RECOMMENDATION: Apply the product over your previously cleansed skin, otherwise the coverage would look patchy.
Longevity: 4-5 hours. After that, my skin starts shining with oil. All in all, the longevity is about 7-8 hours.
Spending: 2-3 pump presses are enough for my entire face.

Impressions of use: The foundation doesn’t look mask-esque on my face. The coverage is from medium to high. It isn’t dead matte and self-setting. My skin isn’t dry with it and my pores look canceled. I can’t say that the product somehow surprised me. The formula is usual for a high-end product.
Price: $44
My rate: 4 stars
Overall thoughts: It isn’t bad though not the best foundation that I can buy for this money. It’s average and doesn’t stand out. It won’t definitely suit those with dry skin or anyone with oily-shine-prone skin.
I hope that you found my review informative! =)
