Since I’m currently suffering from an eyeshadow palette obsession, I keep on filling in my collection with them all the time. Today’s palette is great in quality and it’s truly one of my favorites at the moment.
Product info:
Palette: Fame
Size: 16х1.1 g
Price: $22
Made in the USA
Place of purchase: official website
🍀 Outer appearance 🍀
This product is great and bad at the same time because they do thrift on the packaging. However, they don’t even try to save a cent on the quality of the eyeshadows themselves. I mean the powders are dope here, while the packaging is just a terrible thick paper mess.
But, I’m not planning to carry it with me everywhere, so I hope that the palette won’t lose its trade dress over time if I keep on storing it in my closet.
The magic is inside:
16 shades to choose from, which are matte, satin and metallics.
Swatches:
with a brush and with my finger. I applied them over my nude skin.
🍀 Shades 🍀
Matte ones - 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 16
Satin ones - 2, 14
Metallic ones - 4, 5, 7, 10, 12, 15
All the shades are well packed with pigments and I can vary their payoff too. As for me, I love more muted wash-off color effect. However, you can pack them to the desired color intensity that will be enough even for smokey eyes.
🍀 Makeup 🍀
🍀 Application 🍀
They blend out well, especially if you set your primer with the basic shades from the palette, which are 8, 13, 16.
They almost don’t dust, though the darkest colors can still fall out on my skin. I'd gotten used to the fallout and dusting eyeshadows from Sleek, so these aren’t a big deal anymore.
🍀 Lasting power 🍀
These do last long on my eyes, though we still know that this factor depends mostly on the primer you use. Currently I have 2 Korean primers which are from Etude House and The Saem. They are cool!
Overall:
The good:
💗 blending;
💗 adorable shades;
💗 price;
💗 quality of the powders;
💗 almost no dusting;
💗 pigmentation.
The bad:
I can’t think of anything bad about it.
Currently, this is one of my most favorite palettes. The second goes the one from Zoeva Taupe.
I love nude makeup, that’s why these palettes are my must-haves.
What’s more, the ColourPop offers quality that is no way worse than of Urban Decay or any other high-end branded eyeshadows.
Thanks for reading my post!
