Pros: a lot of different colors, beautiful packaging, don't crease, high quality, long-lasting, smell good
Cons: shimmer hues fall out a bit

I bought this palette half a year ago, for my birthday.

The palette was in the carton box shown below; at the back of it were the names of each color. Inside, there was also a small booklet with three make-up techniques. But, actually, there are thousands of make-up look that you can create with this palette. The design of the palette completely corresponds to the name of it. The design is in the shape of a chocolate bar. The case is heavy and has a magnet lock (it’s very convenient, as it closes the palette well, but still, you won’t break your nail while opening the lid)

There’s a mirror inside, but, unfortunately, it's not the whole width of the palette lid, so it’s not very convenient to use because it's small. But, I got used to using the mirror from the big Benefit set.

The eyeshadows smell delicious. I wouldn't say like chocolate, but something confectionery and very tasty. They even taste sweet (no, I didn’t lick them on the palette). The names of the colors are also very sweet.

Quality. I won’t lie, there are a couple of hues I’m not actually delighted about. But, there are bad ones in every palette, aren’t there? In general, they are well pigmented and the color payoff is also great. There are no colors that are difficult to blend, or stain a lot. When applied on the primer, the colors look even brighter. I always use a primer. The lasting power of these eyeshadows on my eyelids is excellent. With a primer they stay on the whole day and don’t crease (my lids aren’t oily, by the way).

I love this palette because it’s universal and there are a lot of different colors, and textures: matte, satin, shimmer, there’s also a duo-chrome one.

So, you’ll be able to create so many different make-up combinations for every occasion.

And now, my opinion about each color.

(From the left to the right and top down)

I’ll show you the swatches without a primer, as well as with it.

Upper row:

Gilded Ganache - Dark brown color with golden shimmer. In the palette it looks like a little bit green, but, it’s actually not. I like this color.

White Chocolate - A big refill pan of vanilla color. It was wise to put the fair color in the bigger refill pan, but the color isn’t a good quality, actually. I think it’s the worst color in the palette, as it’s almost invisible on my eyes. I use on the eyebrow bone, or to blend other colors, or if I over did dark colors on the eyelids.

Milk Chocolate It is my favorite one. It’s taupe brown color. It’s an ideal color for the crease and blending. I often use it together with a fair color from another palette, when I go to work and need hint of make-up on. I even sometimes define my cheekbones with it.

Black Forest Truffle - Burgundy color with golden shimmer. I use it for evening makeup. But I need to be careful with it while applying, as the shimmer can fall out and stay under the eyes. For the better sticking of the strimmer to the lid, I'd advise using a primer.

Triple Fudge - Dark brown, matte, cool. If you like matte eyeshadow for evening make-up, this color is what you’ll love (apply any fair matte color on the entire lid and Milk Chocolate in the crease, and a bit of Triple Fudge on the lower lid).

The middle row:

Salted Caramel - Rusty, very good matte blending color, I use it with the burgundy shades of that palette.

Marzipan - Satin peachy color, it crumbles a lot and dusts, I hardly ever use it.

Semi-sweet - Warm brown with red undertone, matte one. I hardly ever use it, I don’t even know why.

Strawberry Bon Bon - Light pinkish, matte color. Looks better on the primer than on the bare eyelid. It matches well with the next color.

Candied Violet - Violet-blue hue with pink shimmer. It’s very beautiful, but the shimmer falls out and blows out in the wind. By the end of the day, it almost disappears from the eyelids, but the residue which stayed, looks matte. But, in any case, I do love it.

Amaretto - Satin, rusty-brown color, I can say that it’s duo-chrome. Best of all, it looks when solo, the play of color then is very beautiful.

Lower row:

Hazelnut - Warm brown color with nicely grained tiniest golden-rusty shimmer.

Creme Brulee - The color of the old gold, it’s very beautiful.

Haute Chocolate - Satin, dark chocolate color. From the first sight it may seem that it looks alike the first color from the row Hazelnut, but no, texture-wise, they’re different. This color is darker and I like this one more.

Cherry Cordial - Vinous and it seems matte, but no, it has the smallest bits of shimmer inside.

Champagne Traffle - Satin, silver fair pinky shade. It’s also “big”. It can be used not only as the eyeshadow, but also as a highlighter, which I usually do quite often.

And now let’s look at the pictures of some makeup looks created with this palette. Actually, the number of looks can be limited only by your fantasy. And if you’re fed up with the endless amount of nude palettes, but still you understand that nude shades can be rather handy sometimes, than this palette is what you need.
