This spring, I wanted to treat myself with a lightweight lip gloss to wear daily so as to put it on and be beautiful. In fact, I did manage to find it but today we’ll speak about the Colourpop So Juicy.

The lip gloss arrived packed with a cardboard box, which was a bit shattered during transporting. No, no good for a present anyway.

But the tube with the lip gloss is safe and sound. It’s a regular soft tube with a cut plastic applicator where the product comes out of a small hole in the middle.
Doesn’t it ring a bell with lippies from the 90s?

But on the other hand, I know why they did it, just to make the packaging cheaper. And if only the product could perform well on my lips, I would have never even said anything about its packaging at all.
But this applicator is a mess and I don’t find it convenient. But still, I keep on using it, so fine.
The aroma is pleasant and minty, as though a mint candy. The formula as though hints on lip plumping effect.

The color is gentle and pink. Believe me, I tried my best to apply it as smooth as possible but there’s clearly something wrong with the formula and my skills alongside.
I was also hoping that the shade would match my natural lip color but here it looks a tad fairer.
These are my lips at their current good condition, even though there are still dry patches. But thank God, nothing flakes or peels off.

I apply the product with one thin layer so as not let it define all my lip blemishes. And what do I see? It settles into my lip lines and sits weird on my inner lip.
I guess this issue isn’t fatal from afar but I still don’t feel comfortable with it.

As for the good, the product feels okay while wearing. I like its cooling sensation which isn’t too active or pricking as it may usually happen with other mint lip glosses. The plumping effect is usually gained by irritation.
The staying power is standard - for a couple of hours if you don’t wipe it off before that.

I also love that this shade goes well with almost any eye makeup. However, it was rather difficult to get my wig out of it because all the hairs stuck to my lips. If your hair is long and you wear it loose, then I guess you won’t love it.

In the end, I want to say that I’m dissatisfied with its characteristics, aside from the pleasant sensation on my lips and nice aroma. I can’t see any point in splurging on it, waiting for a delivery and in the end get a product back from the nineties. It’s better to buy the first available one from the nearest drugstore and get the same results.
I don’t know. It’s up to you to decide but I don’t recommend it for sure.
