I was longing to buy the ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadows for a very long time as I adore mono packagings. I was hooked on the sounding promises of unique textures which are neither dry nor creamy. The manufacturer advises us to apply these eyeshadows with fingertips. The product is of really weird consistency and when I touch it with my finger I feel a mousse-like texture. I have them in two colors: Fan Girl and Game Face. They are very soft with a great color payoff.
Game Face is an ideal color for the yellow autumn. The color is very bright and bold. I can describe it like a rusty rich red color.
This very color is great to put accents in makeup. But I can say that sometimes when I'm in a good mood I wear it solo and like the result.
Fan Girl is for wearing when it’s rainy autumn which is usually gray and cloudy.
When it’s sunny outside I don’t even want to look at this color, though it’s muted and calm and might be perfect for daily wear.
Both products are very easy to take up on the brush and blend out. And yes, these very two colors aren’t those you can apply with your fingers in two moves without looking into the mirror. They are too dark and require neat work and proper blending. But I think that the fair colors from the collections will be just fine for “no mirror application”. I like how both of the colors shine especially in the artificial light. They never crease or fade. Once I was wearing them for 10 hours in a row and when I wanted to remove them, they still looked good and I had to use a cleansing oil.
