I’ve been looking at this highlighter for a very long time online. But somehow it was always out of stock and I had to wait for it to appear. But later, the lucky stars were on my side and I saw it available in three shades at once!
For me I opted for the Moonlight Pearls color.
The price is $4. It’s very affordable, isn’t it? Usually baked cosmetic products cost much more.
The highlighter comes with a black cardboard box, which is so typical for the E.L.F brand. It wasn't shattered in the box because it had a plastic stand inside.
Ingredients:
The plastic is cheap, yet not flimsy! I keep it in my makeup bag together with eyeliners, pencils, mascara, eyeshadows and nothing bad has ever happened with the highlighter. It doesn’t look scratched and the lettering is still there.
Product description
This highlighter creates a radiant glow with a sheer wash of shimmering color. Infused with Vitamin E and hydrating jojoba, rose hip, sunflower, apricot, and grape oils to nourish your skin. The highlighter can be applied wet for a vibrant effect or dry for sheer pigmentation.
Well, first things first and before any baked cosmetics application, you should take off the upper layer. You can use any tool to do it - starting from a toothpick and finishing with a small knife. After that, the product will show the color better, as well as the increased payoff.
The color of the highlighter is versatile. I can’t tell you whether it’s warm- or cool-toned. I can use it all year round for sure.
There are 5g in the package. It’ll go a really long way. I’ve been using it for 4 months and it still looks as though I’ve never even touched it. This is the very highlighter that I like to apply a lot. It doesn’t dust and doesn’t fall out. The staying power is all day long!
I apply it with a brush over my cheekbones, brow bones, inner corners and a cupid’s bow to make my lips look fuller for my daily makeup. :)As for the evening going out, at first I apply my liquid highlighter and then very quickly, not letting it dry out, I apply this babe and then my features are so shiny that they can be literally visible from afar.
You can also apply this highlighter using a damp brush but I haven’t tried this technique yet.

Using my fingertips I apply it to the inner corners of my eyes to get the maximum color payoff.
The formula doesn’t have any chunky shimmer bits, this is why my skin always looks as though lit from within with this highlighter on. And the most important thing is that it doesn’t clog my pores at all.
Before purchasing this babe, I used the H&N eyeshadows which were of almost the same shade as this highlighter. And some time later I noticed that some miliums appeared on my skin (these are small white heads which are impossible to pop). Now there are almost none of them left because I use acid serum.
I highly recommend this Baked Highlighter for purchasing.
