Some claim that this powder is to camouflage fine lines, dark circles and imperfections. It’s also perfect for photoshoots and everyday wear.
My little helpers
I bought this powder because of YouTube beauty bloggers influence.
The price was $2.99.
It’s great that the brand doesn’t test on animals. Made in China, though the product was designed in the USA. I wouldn't say that this powder is hypoallergenic, as it irritated my friend’s undereyes! So be careful and test the product beforehand!
1. Packaging. The product is packed into a simple cardboard package. Nothing special about it.
2. Ingredients. Also nothing special for powder ingredients:
Talc, Mica, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone, Crosspolymer, Silica…
3. Powder
There was a tiny synthetic brush for application in the set. I don’t use it as I find it inconvenient. Instead I use the so popular and loved by me ZOEVA 234 LUXE SMOKY SHADER. I don’t pick up the powder right from the package but at first put some on the lid.
The product is of fine grain. It mattifies and blots nicely. I appreciate the setting properties of it as my concealer stays there and doesn’t ever travel or crease. What’s more, thanks to this powder my mascara never imprints onto the lower lids.
Aside from that, the powder is shimmer infused to create a blur effect though the particles are too big for that and I don’t like it at all. Even though I have to say that during the wear they somehow disappear and I don't see them present on my face. The shimmer has green-blue casting with some purple shade to it.
Small shimmer particles
4. Application
This powder is ideal for the under eye area! It isn’t felt too heavy as the coverage is very light. It doesn’t show flaking or make the concealer look cracked.

I don’t wear it solo, as there’s no coverage. Usually I apply some concealer, blend it out with the ZOEVA #142 brush and then apply some powder on the ZOEVA #234 LUXE SMOKY SHADER brush and set the product with dabbing motions not to stretch the gentle under eye skin. As you can see there’s no shimmer visible, so you can use this product for photoshoots.
So, I recommend this ELF Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder for those who suffer the problem of their concealer creasing and settling into fine lines, and of course if your mascara imprints on your lower lids.
