I want to tell you about my impressions from using this CC cream from Erborian. Reading through a pile of great and positive reviews of it, I decided that it was essential for me to buy it too. In Sephora, I saw a small set which included 3 minis of this product.
Fantastic, isn’t it? After all, I can always feel free to throw those minis away if I don’t like them.
And this is actually what I had to do, you know. I threw them away.
The packaging is pleasant to look at. It doesn’t look cheap and I love it.
At first, I want to show you it over my tanned skin. This is how white it looks when it comes out of the tube. And it even feels fine, I should say.
It’s noteworthy that the product goes smoothly, blends out and looks well only over my tanned skin.
The inner part of my wrist is paler and here you can see it in action.
When I blend it out, it turns into a brown-orange mess over my skin.
Maybe I did something wrong, I don’t know but a great deal of the beauty community states that the product adjusts to any skin type.
That’s not true.
Orange-red carrot, that’s what I get.
The price for the full-size is huge and it’s not what you want to get for that money.
Maybe the product has some magic ingredients or it affects the skin somehow well, I don’t know but I know it for sure that I don’t want my complexion to look orange-carrot.
The product will never flatter mixed skin type (like mine) or oily types. When my skin became tanned, I decided to give it another chance and it looked more or less good on my face, I confess. But by the end of the day, my face was so shining with oil that it felt like I put my face into a bowl with oil, even though my skin never gets so oily throughout the day. My dry skin patches were not moisturized but greased.
As for the good, I can list the moisture aspect. Maybe if your skin is tanned and yellow-toned, it’ll be perfect. The product does smooth out my complexion, however, the coverage still looks patchy by the end of the day. Also, it has SPF25 to the formula.
Overall: it sucks. If I had bought the full-sized packaging, I would have been super upset now.
