Today I’d like to bring you a review of the relatively new product from Golden Rose, which is an eyeshadow primer. After I’ve tested their stunning matte lipsticks, I’ve decided to try something else from the brand.
I love eyeshadow bases and primers, because every eyeshadow applied alone flows on my oily eyelids after 5 hours.
I’ve tried lots of everything beginning from low-end products to high-ends, so I know now what results I want to have.
This is how it looked when it was new. The product came in a black matte package with kind of a window in the middle where you can see the tube. Sleek and chic.
A Sheer and lightweight primer increases the eyeshadow’s durability and makes colour appear more vibrant and keeps eyeshadow crease-free wear. It glides on smoothly, dries on invisibly and leaves eyeshadow fresh looking for hours.
Inside you can find a nice tube with 11 ml of the product, which is good for an eyeshadow primer. The amount will definitely go a long way.
On screwing off the cap, we see a very handy nozzle that gives just the right amount of the primer.
The is the most convenient package for primers! You don’t have to go inside with your fingers or with a sponge.
The consistency is thick and reminds me of a foundation. The color is beige and classy without any yellow or pink undertones.
After application the product evens out the color of the eyelid and conceals some imperfections.
This primer is a total bang for your buck! I’ve been wearing it for about 14 hours and the eyeshadow stayed put the whole day.
All the challenging eyeliners and mascaras didn’t ever transfer onto my eyelids. Plus, the wear time was amazing!
The primer intensifies the pigmentation so well!
Moreover, any product blends out with ease after this primer… However, you should wait some time till the primer starts functioning on your eyelids:
Usage: Apply a thin layer on bare eye lids. Wait 30 seconds. Then apply eye make-up.
I’m totally obsessed with the eyeshadow primer and the brand. Highly recommended!
