One day, I went out to find my favorite brow pencil, but it was out of stock so I opted for this eyebrow mascara, which was available in the shade 07.
At that point, I was dyeing my eyebrows with henna and I thought that this eyebrow mascara would be nice for everyday.
The design is simple: a black tube with white captions:
All the main information can be found on the tube: expiration date, manufacturer, and shade.
Opening the tube, I didn’t smell anything. If there was any scent, it was barely perceptible.
About the brush: at first sight, it seemed comfortable thanks to its size.
But it wasn’t. At the tip of the brush, the mascara was always accumulating, which led to spots and patches on the brows.
Of course, the excess can be removed, but if you are in a hurry like me, you may forget about it, and as a result, get something like this:
The shade itself seemed nice at first, but it darkens after a while.
It’s so inconvenient because you have to guess what shade you end up with, and apply less.
Besides, blending out this mascara may be a challenge. Some areas become darker, but it depends on the hairs.
I don’t know if this mascara is really a fixative. Maybe it’s just a dye.
By the end of the day, the color isn’t even. Gaps appear here and there. The product seems to disappear eventually.
Personally I find this product controversial, and even though I reach for it sometimes, I know it will do no good. I don’t use this mascara anymore and I’m not going to buy if again for sure.
Thanks for coming by!
