Today I want to share my excitement about this new KissKiss Lip Balm from Guerlain.
I laid my eye on it in the promo already. The stick was too interestingly shaped and yeah, the finish was so glossy. You know, it feels like I’m a little bit fed up with the matte lipsticks and now I want to glow.
I’ll traditionally start with the packaging. It was inspired by the collection design but here it’s glossy which hints the finish of the product. The only gripe about such a casing is that it collects all my fingerprints. But this is me being picky.
And now, the most interesting part - the stick. It’s unique! It’s cut like a diamond! It’s perfect for my lip outlining, even though I don’t think precise contour is essential here, given the texture.
The lippie is glossy with an abundance of finely milled golden shimmer in the formula.
It looks dope! Not vulgar at all!
But when it comes to the color description, I do find some difficulties. It’s a blend of a muted red shade with a hint of orange and a lot of gold. It appears harmoniously and natural. I should mention my lips are dry and whimsical but this babe applies like a dream over them, even if I don’t apply a lip balm underneath. It removes easily with a tissue.
It may live through a bite but will still fade a little. As for a lunch break, that’s not for it.
What’s in the end? This is my fave! I always want to reach it. It’s an awesome daily option but it’s still gorgeous for a special event!
