I’m not a lip gloss lover but there are moments when I want sheer coverage without pigments, or when I want to complement my matte lipstick. That’s when a lip gloss comes to my aid.
There are different kinds of lip glosses: some of them are completely sheer or slightly tinted or even pigmented like a real lipstick, or contain shimmer particles. And there are lips toppers, like this one. It can be worn alone, of course, but I don’t wear it so.
I got my miniature in a goody bag.
It’s designed like a full-size one. The lip gloss comes housed in a transparent plastic tube with a black glossy cap. Stylish, sophisticated, heavy. The full-size tube comes in a box, while mine doesn’t.

Shameless is a duochrome metallic shade with a transition from pink gold to gold.
Also, it contains many pink particles. It’s very rich and beautiful and will adorn any lipstick in that color range.
The stopper works flawlessly.
The doe-foot applicator is great to draw contours as well as paint over the lip surface. This is my favorite type of applicator lately.
The vanilla-coffee fragrance is very nice. It’s often used in lip glosses. It’s sweet and tasty and lasts long. It will be a challenge for those who want to lose some weight.
The formula is thick and viscous. The application is problem-free. The lip gloss is easy to spread and you don’t have to layer it to achieve the desired result.
Solo on my lips:
Beautiful, but not my cup of tea. It looks awesome and shines, though.
It’s almost colorless on my lips. My lips aren’t pigmented and therefore the result isn’t great. Maybe it will be okay to wear in spring, but I’m not sure about it.

I apply the Lip Strobe over it, and my lips immediately change their appearance.
The glow is beautiful and the pink particles are much more visible.
Then, I used NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in 20 French Maid.
With it, the lip gloss looks amazing too, giving a juicy, vivid and bright result, and that’s how I’m planning to wear it. I think it’s perfect for a spring evening.
It feels really nice on my lips, not too sticky and plus it doesn’t scratch or tighten my lips. The formula is perfect. I rarely like lip glosses but this one is wonderful.
The durability isn’t long. It’s a lip gloss, after all. Two hours wear is okay. With a lipstick, this lip gloss can last about 3-4 hours. Keep in mind that this topper can dissolve even the most long-lasting lipstick, so I wouldn’t recommend to wear it with creamy formulas.
The lip gloss comes off evenly but it can remove whatever you apply under it too, and it may look really bad.
I’ve used this lip gloss three times for photos and swatches and three times I’ve worn it, and now the 1\4 of the tube is spent. That’s sad.
Removing: can be removed with a wet wipe. It’s hard to do it with a dry one.
This lip gloss leaves a pleasant feeling, like after a lip balm.

All in a all, it’s a cool lip gloss and I want to wear it again and again.
