Hello there!
Here’s a new masterpiece from Lancome. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to assess the beauty of the packaging because I have a mini. At the same time I had all the chances to assess the sponge applicator and the quality of the contents to the fullest and now I’m eager to share my thoughts about this product with you.
This is actually the second mini in my stash, by the way.
Both these babes can be similar color-wise, yet they are still different. The lacquer gloss is a fiery red - #132, while the first lip product is a delish fuchsia which is #372. And of course they are different in textures! Actually these are my own description of their colors, they aren’t official, you know!

First impressions:
Visually the texture of the lacquer gloss is runny, as of many other lip glosses and the color seems very intense and deep-toned.
The sponge applicator is placed on a rather long wand and find it easy to outline my lips with, even though it seems that I don’t have any visual lip contours. The thing is that my lips are rather flat and the edges leave much to be desired.
Since I have both products which are very similar characteristics-wise, I decided to show you both of them. Maybe it’ll make it easier for you to make up your mind on which product to choose.
The photos are always more true to life, rather than regular color descriptions. And I also attached the photo of the products by different lights:
My impressions:
✅ the product doesn’t have any aroma to the formula. It feels as though it’s absolutely unscented, which is so typical for a high-end product
✅ the texture is runny, glossy and well packed with the pigment
✅ I almost don’t feel the lip lacquer present on my lips. It never dries out my lips
✅ the formula is on the contrary very emollient for my lips and it feels very comfortable during wear
✅ it doesn’t show flaking, which is so great, because currently I have flakey lip skin!
Photos of the product on my lips were intentionally taken different days because during that time my lip condition was more or less changing. I’m not a makeup guru and since I naturally don’t have any lip contours, it’s a must for me to wear any lip product over my outlined lips. But, you know, sometimes I just don’t have enough time to bother with all that! Usually I do my makeup in the morning when I have a limited amount of time.
Well, I guess the color doesn’t actually suit me. Or maybe it’s just not for everyday wear. They don’t appreciate bright makeup when you’re a health worker, do they? But I guess that I can easily fit it into my makeup for summer time or for a party, for example, which I’ll do with great pleasure!
This is why I want to show you the color selection of the palette of the new launch:
Wear time:
Since the product is highly packed with the pigment, its pigment is more likely to stay on your lips the entire day. I have to say that the gloss quickly disappears, even after the first meal, which is pretty logical. But the pigment will stay on so well that it’ll definitely live through a couple of meals for sure.
The lippie settles into my lip fine lines a little, just because my lips are flaking at the moment.
I recommend this lip lacquer! Especially if your lips are beautiful and sexy. This product will not only make them look even more pouty, but will also fill them in with its wholesome components which are super skin friendly and comfortable for the lips!
