Hello pretty ladies! Wink

Today I’m here again with a highlighter review. Yes, you heard it right. Smile My collection has been replenished with one more product recently, which I’m eager to review now - Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Diamond Dust.

The product arrived packed with a beautiful present packaging, which was a part of a Christmas collection. All the other days it usually retails with a regular square cardboard box.

As for the highlighter itself, it comes with a good quality plastic compact with a see-through top lid. It closes tightly with a click. All in all nothing superfluous here, no frills or pathos.

Size - 4.5g.

Made in Italy (even though the brand is American).

The list of ingredients for the interested ones:

Mica, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Hdi/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Squalane, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Glycerin, Caprylyl Glycol, Chrondrus Crispus, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polysorbate 20, 1,2-Hexanediol, Silica, Xanthan Gum, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)

Consistency-wise, the highlighter is pleasant to the touch and nicely pressed, hence it doesn’t dust a lot.

The pigmentation is on fleek, you are sure to pick up too much either with your fingers or brushes, so it’s better to shake off overabundance each time before application. I use my Zoeva #105 Luxe Highlight brush to apply this product.

The surface of the highlighter has a swirl print on it. I don’t know why maybe because of the name or maybe because of the shape I anticipated a creamy or gel-like texture of the product. But no, it’s classic and powdery.

But the reason why I couldn’t pass by this highlighter is its fantastic and unbelievable shade.

Diamond Dust is the gentlest white-pink duochrome shade with a hint of grayish undertone to it. Of course, it doesn’t look unique, though it still doesn’t mean that it’s bad or anything.

As many other fine duochrome highlighters, this one also changes its color depending on the angle of sunbeams over it.

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Diamond Dust is so easy to blend out. It’s impossible to stain your skin with it.

The result looks rather delicate, though you can still layer it so as to make it visible from orbit.

The wear time is fabulous, I can see it present on my skin until the moment I start removing it.

Here I applied the highlighter on my brow bones, to the inner corners of the eyes and my cheekbones.

If I apply a good layer of it, then I can see the active white base in the color, hence the pink glow becomes more visible.

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Diamond Dust is an excellent highlighter! If you’re sick and tired of all those pearlescent or champagne colored highlighters, then this gem is exactly what you need!

Price - $26

Thanks for your attention to my post! Stay beautiful and have a pleasant shopping day! Wink
