My sister is a fan of Natasha Denona eyeshadows. I don’t share her passion and can’t get how it is rational to splurge so much on an eyeshadow palette. However, I do admit that all her palettes are fantastic!
At first, I used to think of buying a 5-shade palette to fit the bill of my collection with this iconic product. But later, I found out that they also offer a highlighter and a blush in one palette of different colors. Mine is called Diamond and Glow.
Founded in 2016 by internationally renowned make up artist Natasha Denona, this trend-setting yet user-friendly beauty line has become a worldwide phenomenon, legendary for producing some of the highest quality palettes and brush sets on the market. A super-cute addition to your collection – and the perfect way to glow on-the-go – this baby palette unites a nude-toned pressed diamond powder and a duo glow powder (a pressed pink pigment with champagne-emerald shifts). Gorgeous on a range of skin tones, this dreamy duo will give you Moss-worthy bone structure and a fresh, uplifted flush.
About the price
This small 4g palette costs $19.
About the packaging
At first, I was a little bit dissatisfied with the box because it looked so cheap and simple. But once I opened it I saw that it was a really high-end product inside.
The packaging is simple, eye-catching and perfect design-wise. It’s made of thick and good quality plastic.
In a word, the palette is handy and super travel-friendly.
About the refills
The products in the palette are absolutely unscented.
Oddly enough, they don’t dust or crumble, unlike many similar palettes.
The highlighter is actually a well-pressed chunky shimmer, which looks so similar to the new highlighter from Rihanna. It’s trendy, we know that.
The blusher here is really interesting. The thing is that it’s duochrome! It’s a shade of a sunny salmon and a gentle pink carnation. This shade is perfect for my eyes and cheeks too.
About the results
Both highlighting and blushing powders stay on my skin the entire day and they never crease or anything. They don’t fall out and if they do, it’s not a problem to wipe them off.
I really love creating such a trendy spring makeup with this palette - only the blush shade on my eyes, the same product on my cheeks, some mascara, filled in brows and brightly colored lips.
About ethical aspect
The brand doesn’t test on animals
Overall
I love it! The palette won’t be good for everyday nude makeup because it’s shiny and glowing. It won’t touch the hearts of all of you. (By the way, the collection also has more matte and less shiny options as well). I know that I won’t use it daily but it’s so good to be creative with it!
