Pros: design
Cons: clumps, flakes, isn’t jet black but grey color, makes my eyelashes stuck together, smudges

Hello people!

Today I want to tell off the Miss Manga Mascara by L’Oreal. It's been so broadly advertised that it was chasing me everywhere: on the pages of magazines, on TV, and at the stores, of course. But actually, it turned out to be the worst mascara that I’ve ever had.

Price: $7.99

Made in: Italy

Product details:

L'Oréal's Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara gives you great volume on the top and bottom. The brush has a 360 degree flexor that helps you build up to 15x the volume in a flash.

Who is Miss Manga?

Miss Manga is a character of Japanese anime with enormously big eyes. She has such long and thick eyelashes that they even look like falsies. Well, sounds great, doesn’t it? The glossy tube, which is a massive fingerprints collector, looks classy and beautiful.

Another angle:

The brush is...unusual. Maybe it’ll actually be okay to someone’s liking, but not for me. If I look closer, I can clearly see the clumps at the tip of the of it!

My never answered questions sounds like the following: “Why have they decided to create such a flexible brush?” I can’t catch my eyelashes with it, what should I do with it? What’s more, even if I manage to coat my lashes with it, there are always clumps on them. I like silicone-made brushes! They separate my lashes well and there are never any clumps on them.

In life the mascara doesn't look black, it looks grey.

One layer coated lashes look rather decent, but still stuck together. In the photos below you can see the result. By the way, you can’t even imagine how hard I tried to get this result in the end. I had to use a clean brush from my old mascara to make my eyelashes look more or less separated. L’Oreal, I’m so much upset with you…

Here is two coats. Look at this masterpiece: my eyelashes are stuck together and clumpy. Even my clean brush couldn’t help me out this time. No matter how much I tried I still couldn't get a beautiful evening make-up look with this mascara on my eyelashes. The were heavy, weighted down and looked as though coated a hundred times. And again I blame the “super flexible” brush for it and the stopper, as it let the excess amount of the mascara to sit on the brush and come out.

If I do wear this mascara during the day I always have to check if it hadn’t smudged out or flaked. One good side of it is that it removes easily and quickly.

I give this mascara ★★, as there are too many disadvantages to it.
