Pros: affordable, applies easily, doesn't clog my pores, doesn't feel heavy on skin, fragrance-free, huge amount of shades available, spf 17
Cons: the bottle is not handy

I already had the True Match Foundation from L'Oreal Paris, but it was quite a long time ago. In addition, that product was a little bit different from this one.

This fall I purchased this foundation at Walmart and decided to share my thoughts about it with you.

  • Where to buy and how much does it cost?

I bought it at Walmart, as I’ve already mentioned.

Price point: $8.86

  • Packaging.

I got attracted to this product due to the packaging. It looks especially eye-catching when looking at the whole bunch of the shades. The bottle reminds me of medicine Smile I decided to give it a go.

The bottle is made of glass and has a silver screw cap, which closes quite securely, so the product won’t open up or flow.

On the cap you can find the number of the shade, where W implies Warm and 3 implies the intensity of the color.

The bottle has also a sticker with some drug facts:

  • About the product.

This foundation doesn’t have a pump, which is a downside. The bottle is not very handy and convenient to use, as there is no opportunity to control the amount of the product. More than that when the foundation runs low, it’s a little bit of a hassle to use it up.

The shade I have is Nude Beige.

In the first picture you can see that the foundation is available in a huge amount of shades or I would rather call them pigments that are divided into 3 parts according the undertones. Here you can find warm, cold and neutral colors.

I was planning to purchase N3, which is neutral, but it was not available, so I chose the warm undertone. Too bad there were no testers, but the shade I bought looked perfect on my tanned skin tone after the summer. At the moment it doesn’t suit my skin so well.

The foundation has a nice powdery scent that I feel on my skin a tiny bit, and it’s not off-putting to me.

It has a light, medium-thick to liquid texture.

It applies very well, quickly and evenly to my skin.

  • My results and ingredients.

I like that this foundation adjusts to my skin tone concealing the imperfections. Moreover, in the ingredients you can find the following:

methylmethacrylate crosspolymer

In fact, these are glowing particles that can dissolve. They can help cover up fine lines if you have them. The particles are absolutely undetectable on skin.

This foundation is not sticky and I don’t feel in on my skin.

However, the product is a little bit thick for me. I love lightweight formulas. The texture is waterproof and prevents oily sheen, which is good news for many girls.

Finish: silky smooth and I would even say satin.

It also contains:

Polyglyceryl 4 Isostearate and Hexyl Laurate and Cetyl/PEG/PPG 10/1 Dimethicone

These are the ingredients that form a good and smooth emulsion and improve skin conditioning.

  • The bottomline.

I loved the performance of this product. In addition, you can purchase different shades and blend them together to get the perfect tone.

I guess I would repurchase it.
