Hello there!

The new limited edition Boom Boom Bloom line-up is devoted to spring and sakura blooming.

Honestly, I was anxiously waiting for this collection to be released because I knew what to buy for me. And today, my review is about a lipstick from this collection.

Main product info: Price: $19.50

Weight: 3g

Made in Canada

Product says:

Put the BOOM into BLOOM. Get swept up into spring with a petal-powered collection – and keep the bloom alive! The limited-edition lineup – featuring exclusively designed sakura-printed packaging.

An exclusive lineup of five pink and berry hues to complement every skin tone. The iconic product that made M∙A∙C famous. Features special-edition sakura-printed packaging.

Packaging:

The standard MAC lipsticks bullet design has made the brand popular and is really a feature. However, the packaging of this limited edition lippie is different and comes with a white casing and pink petals all over it. The product was packed in a branded box.

As for the bullet itself, it’s sleek and tight closing.

Ingredients:

Texture:

The texture is pleasant and satin in finish.

Impressions of use:

All the lippies of the new collection come with pink-peach shades. I bought mine in the color Framboise Moi - which is a perfect berry shade! The color is pretty bright and luckily, it doesn’t make my teeth appear yellow.

The lippie is well packed with pigments and it applies with thick coverage on the first go. It doesn’t require my lip lining so I can easily outline my lips with the stick.

The coverage is beautiful, smooth and clump-free. The product doesn’t sit in my lip fine lines and doesn’t even define my flaking skin. One of the main advantages of this lipstick is that it doesn’t dry out my lips and it’s so comfortable while wearing.

It’s pretty long-wearing though not super long-lasting. It can stay put after a couple of bites and 1-2 glasses of tea/coffee. The product isn’t transfer-proof and it stains cups and glasses. And yeah, no touch-up is needed due to well packed with pigments formula.

It can barely live through a full course meal, especially if the food is fatty and I drink a lot. Even though it doesn’t set on my lips at all, the coverage still stays within the lines and doesn’t feather. I also appreciate that it doesn’t crease on my inner lip.

As for the aroma, it’s pleasant, sweet and not at all chasing.

Overall: in fact, the product looks really spring-inspired. This lippie is perfect for me in all respects and it’s definitely become my favorite one!
