I love bright matte lipsticks! I own more than 20 pieces and there can never be too many of them.
I bought this lipstick from Estee Lauder with a gift certificate.
The lipstick was packaged in a typical Estee Lauder lipstick wrapper.

The design and concept of the lipstick Pure Color Envy Matte in general is excellent. The cover is dark blue with gold and is quite heavy. The cap with a magnetic closure closes quickly with a click. I like it, so I'm sure the lipstick does not pop open in the pocket by accident. The case is made of a thick plastic and will not burst or break by itself.
The design is at the highest level, as it should be with high end products!

The sticker on the bottom corresponds to the color of the lipstick itself.
The color on the internet looks darker than in real life. Therefore, I recommend you try out the lipsticks in the store first instead of ordering them online immediately.
I love bright red-pink tones and this color is really beautiful. But it is not pink, that's more like fuchsia.

Lipstick properties:
Fragrance-free. Or at least I smell nothing and I like that. Even after application no aroma is noticeable.
The formula is slightly solid, for a richer color you have to press on the lipstick when applying it. I already have some difficulties applying it because the lipstick does not glide so easily over my lips.
The lipstick is not pigmented well enough. You will not get a thick coat with a single hand movement.
My impressions of the Pure Color Envy Matte Lipstick
Emphasizes dryness ☝️One should exfoliate their lips before use! ☝️
Settles in the lips wrinkles after a few hours.
Immediately after application, the lipstick looks good on the lips. I don’t feel it! The lipstick does not dry out the lips. On the contrary, it seems to hydrate them.
Matte lipsticks usually dry out the lips, but not this one! Even after a few hours of wear my lips are not dry and do not look completely matte.
The lipstick is not very long lasting, but no one promised super durability. The lipstick lasts a good few hours without touch up. It does not come off or bleed.
Lives through a snack. Partly. Leaves a kind of tint even after it’s completely removed.
The lipstick is not sticky.
As I wrote above, the pigmentation is weak and you have to apply a few coats in order to get a saturated result. Applying this lipstick can be tricky, especially for newbies.
I recommend this to all matte lipsticks and bright hues lovers. It’s a rare example of a matte lipstick that doesn’t dry out. In general, I liked this, but all the above mentioned flaws make me wonder, if I would ever buy it again.
