Pros: a little goes a long way, comfortable texture, fragrance-free, gorgeous colors, highly-pigmented, long-lasting, not sticky
Cons: few shades available

Hey!

Highly-pigmented lip glosses are nothing new. Different brands can sometimes produce them properly, so that they look gorgeous on the lips and behave well throughout the day.

Makeup Revolution is no exception and they have released a product called Lip Amplification, which is a highly-pigmented lip gloss in non-traditional shades. Why not? Glossy lips are trending today again and such non-typical shades can be applied whatever the occasion, provided that it corresponds to your style.

What is the Lip Amplification lip gloss?

The lip gloss comes in matte black paper packaging with all the necessary information on it.

Ingredients:

The packaging looks like any other lip gloss. The product comes in a transparent tube with a black glossy cap. The tube allows you to see the real shade. On the tube you can see the golden name of the range and a sticker with the shade name.

The cap closes tightly, so it won’t flow in your clutch or handbag.

It has a typical fluffy doe-foot applicator, which picks up a good amount of the product and doesn’t remove the first coat.

The formula is highly-pigmented and can be layered or blended out for a half-transparent effect. It seems like it evens out by itself after application and as a result you get a glossy finish.

To prolong the wear time, I recommend applying a lip liner beforehand, because any liquid lipstick or a lip gloss can actually flow. This product wears about 4-5 hours without eating, which is really good. In addition, some of them may leave a pigment on my lips.

The lip gloss is fragrance-free and it doesn’t have any taste to it. It’s very comfortable to use and wear.

The color range is not that big and has only 6 shades with only one nude tone. I’ve grabbed the most eccentric colors out there.

High Voltage

It’s a very beautiful orchid shade, which is very hard to convey in a picture. The thing is that it can look different according to the lighting. The consistency applies evenly and can be layered. It leaves a pink hue after makeup removal.

Limitless

It’s a graphite gray color, which I love in a makeup with beige eyeshadows. If you add the lines to your eyes, you get a grunge look.

The shade performs the same as the previous shade, but it doesn’t leave a pigment on my lips.

Conviction

It’s a shade of an overripe cherry. The color is classy for dark shades. The application is quite easy for a liquid product, but I would recommend using it after a lip liner to make the color more intense. Other than that the formula is easy to coat. Plus, it doesn’t crease. My lips look very rich and luscious.

The shade leaves a pigment after removing.

In my opinion, this product is more like a lip paint than a lip gloss. It ensures a super glossy finish and an intense color. It’s like a liquid lipstick and a lip gloss at the same time. I wouldn’t use this lipstick for an important meeting. I prefer using it along with some mega long-lasting lipsticks in everyday life.

My tip: The range is definitely worth a look if you are looking for a a glossy lip product.
