❇️ The outer design of the product didn’t impress me at all.

Here we can see that same plastic casing, like of oldie but goodie Maybelline lipsticks.
But this time it’s pink, golden and glossy all over. I can’t count it as a pro because it gathers all the fingerprints and scratches. But the way, the item is so easy to scratch.
❇️ Once I opened the tube, I could sniff that very branded Maybelline fragrance. This is the smell from my childhood, though a tad more luscious maybe.
I’m not a fan of fragranced makeup. But this one definitely doesn’t annoy me.
❇️ The texture is real butter, which melts easily once it touches the skin. It’s uber gliding, even when my lips are dry and chapped.
The coverage doesn’t seem patchy or streaky. I also haven’t seen it budging with a white film on my inner lips.
❇️ The finish is glossy, as though I applied a lip glass over my lips.

❇️ The formula is highly packed with pigments and it covers up my natural lip pigment so easily.

❇️ Thanks to the high concentration of oils in the ingredients, the product is unbelievably comfortable to wear. No drying out, yet at the same time, I don’t experience any greasy finish over my lips.
But here, I also have noticed a drawback. You see, the product is feathering. Once I apply it, within 30 minutes, my lip edges are somewhere close to my chin.
So, I highly advise you to wear it either with a lip pencil or fill in your lips before the application all over and only after that apply the Shine Compulsion lipstick.
❇️ Even when it’s freezing cold outside, I can feel that my lips are protected.
❇️ The only thing that disappoints me is that I have to re-apply it almost every hour because it feels like the formula soaks in, leaving a light tint, making my lips nurtured and hydrated. And take into account that this way it has huge spending.
❇️It’s obvious that it won’t be able to stay through a meal anyway. But it’s so easy to re-apply any time.

After my recent disappointment in the Maybelline Stick Foundation, here I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. It makes me think that Maybelline can do anything when they want to! There are so many awesome products from them, which are so affordable and look no way worse than high-end makeup.
That’s why with a clear conscience, I can highly recommend this product to everyone who is sick and tired of matte lipsticks and wants to get some skin care and color in one tube.
