Hi!
Today I want to tell you about my Missha M Magic Cushion Moisture SPF50+ / PA+++.
Honestly, I saw a lot of different reviews of cushions, but decided to choose this one. I had a sachet of BB cream by Missha and I liked it a lot. Why didn’t I buy the BB? At the moment I have some BB creams, so I’ll buy another one, once I'll end up with all of them. And cushion was something interesting for me. “What is it? What effect to expect?” I used to ask myself. I couldn’t fight my curiosity and I bought this (unusual) foundation.
Before the detailed description of the foundation itself, let’s focus our attention on the packaging and design.
The design is very beautiful and stylish. It reminds me of powder a bit. When we open the packaging, there’s a puff with a blue ribbon with the name of the brand “Missha” on it.
On the top of the case, there’s also a mirror. I think it’s very convenient, as you can easily take the product with you in a purse and touch-up during the day. (
However, you won’t need that, but, a bit later about it)The sponge from the other side is of blue color, it’s very soft and pleasant when touches the skin. But, to tell you the truth, I haven’t used the puff. I’m more got used to applying foundation with the Beautyblender.
Under the puff, there’s a protecting tape for the sponge with a product. You’ll need to remove it.
Here’s how this famous and unusual product looks. It’s like a simple sponge, but once you press it with a finger, brush, or puff - you can see the foundation imprinting on. The harder you press, the more product will come out.
The product itself is of creamy consistency. It beautifully applies on the skin, as well as sits. I have it in #21
My skin is fair (I’d even say pale), and of normal type. I can’t say that it’s problematic, but it tends to blemish and be dry (flaking).
On the swatch you can see that the product is fair. Besides, it adjusts well. It evens the skin tone and color, and my skin looks beautiful. It covers blemishes nicely. During the day, the product doesn’t sit in my pores. For normal (dry skin) it’ll be perfect. The cream stays on me the whole day, so there’s no need for me to take the cushion with. To complete the look, I apply the powder and some blush over the foundation.
The only thing is that the product defines flaking a bit (on the tip of my nose), but it’s not a great problem, as flaking is a quite persistent guest on my face, alas.
I want to draw your attention to the fact that the product has a high SPF 50. I don’t use the foundation creams in summer, actually (as I prefer loose powders), and any other time of the year this cushion will be a great helper.
This is how this product looks on my skin:
- On the right: only the cushion foundation applied.
- On the left: with makeup on.
I’m very delighted with my purchase!
Thanks for the attention, I hope the review was useful for you!
