Hi!

Here I am, writing another review on this famous BB Cream. I’ve been longing for it for a long time, despite all those controversial reviews. I wanted to try it out on my skin.

And I’d say that my feelings about it are quite mixed too.

Product details:

Recommended for :- Those looking to hide blemishes and other imperfections- Those who want high-coverage but a lightweight formula- Those looking for a makeup product that provides wrinkle care and UVA & UVB protection, while brightening skin- Those looking for a quick and easy way to achieve a more perfect complexion

Price: $22

Ingredients:

WATER (AQUA), CYCLOMETHICONE, ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE, ZINC OXIDE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, TITANIUM DIOXIDE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, PEG-10 DIMETHICONE, CETYL PEG/PPG-10/1 DIMETHICONE, ARBUTIN, MINERAL OIL, GLYCERIN, POLYETHYLENE, TALC, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, BEESWAX (CERA ALBA), IRON OXIDES (YELLOW), SODIUM CHLORIDE, IRON OXIDES (RED), IRON OXIDES (BLACK), METHYLPARABEN, DIMETHICONE, PROPYLPARABEN, ROSA CANINA FRUIT OIL, SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL, SQUALANE, HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN, MACADAMIA TERNIFOLIA SEED OIL, DISODIUM EDTA, ADENOSINE, CAVIAR EXTRACT, ALGAE EXTRACT, ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMARY) LEAF EXTRACT, CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA (MATRICARIA) FLOWER EXTRACT, SODIUM HYALURONATE, FAGUS SYLVATICA BUD EXTRACT, CERAMIDE 3, FRAGRANCE (PARFUM), HYDROXYISOHEXYL 3-CYCLOHEXENE CARBOXALDEHYDE, BUTYLPHENYL METHYLPROPIONAL, BENZYL SALICYLATE, HYDROXYCITRONELLAL, ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE, HEXYL CINNAMAL, LINALOOL, CITRONELLOL

I’m not one of those great chemists who know everything about makeup ingredients, but even I can clearly see that these ingredients are far from perfect. Nevertheless, there are a few good ingredients like rosemary extract, rosehip and jojoba oils, macadamia nut oil etc. Plus, there is also a sun protection factor.

Outer appearance:

The tube itself is packaged in a cardboard box, which I lost, along with the plastic lid which initially covered the nozzle.

The tube is medium-sized and good-looking.

The pump is handy.

The tube contains 50ml, which is enough, since most foundations are housed in 30 ml. bottles.

This BB cream is available in six shades. Mine is 21 Light Beige.

I can responsibly say that the shade is way too light for my medium skin tone. The BB Cream makes my face white, and I hate this effect. The BB cream oxidizes after a while and therefore becomes more dark and adapts to my skin tone. So the light shade is no big deal.

It would wonderfully match girls with pale skin. In general, the shade is quite good without grayness or yellowness.

Technical details:

The formula is medium-thick and wet.

It’s applied and blended well. It melts when in contact with my skin and creates a thin layer of BB cream. Good blendability and durability.

The BB Cream doesn’t make dry skin stand out. However, it won’t cover flaking.

It doesn’t fall into the pores, and I have enlarged pores. On the contrary, the BB Cream makes them appear visually smaller.

The BB cream provides medium coverage. It won’t cover big skin imperfections, so it’s not an option for girls with extremely problematic skin.

It hides little imperfections quite good, though.

The finish is rather satin than matte.SPF 42 PA+++

I haven’t noticed any skin care properties of this BB Cream. But it hasn’t damaged my skin, and I appreciate this. But if your skin is problem, it can provoke breakouts, which is bad.

The lasting power is good. I wouldn’t say the BB Cream is mattifying. The face shine appears even earlier than usual.

It can be removed effortlessly. I have a special Korean face foam for it.

Before / after

Whom would this BB cream suit?

I think it’ll go for girls with good skin without serious imperfections.

For those who have problem skin - no. It can clog your pores and cause new blemishes, plus it can’t cover any pimples.

The BB cream isn’t great for oily skin, because it makes my face shine. It’s okay in winter, but I put the BB cream aside in summer time, even though it has a sun protection factor. And I wouldn’t say my skin is oily, it’s combination.

For dry-skinned girls, this BB cream may be okay in summer, but in winter it can emphasize all those flaky spots.

Since I don’t have any problems with my skin, I’m happy with this cream, it evens my skin tone out and covers little imperfections without a mask-like effect.

But I won’t repurchase it again!
