I truly believe that the best mascaras can be found among the affordable brands. I’ve tried so many out there, high-end, affordable ones and there still hasn’t been a mascara that I’d like to repurchase.
NARS has been a brand for me which can’t release anything bad. They say so many great things about it on the net.
I fell for this mascara design, once I saw its promo. I’ve never liked the red color but suddenly, it felt like I was blown away with it.
In fact, the loyalty bonus did its job and I bought this mascara.
It was packed in a paper soft-touch box.
I love it and still don’t feel courageous enough to throw it away.
The tube is gorgeous.
It’s always a pleasure to use it. The quality is excellent. Tight closure.
The brush is of my favorite shade. Sand-glass with silicone bristles.
There are some mascaras which need time to perform well. I mean once you start using them, you might not like them. After a while, they dry down a little and show the best results. This mascara is among that category.
At first, it was too runny, so my lashes were clumped, too long and volume-less. Some time later, it started to coat my lashes nice, creating a beautiful veil of fluffy lashes.
Unfortunately, this mascara isn’t the best quality-wise. It falls out and stains my eyelids during the day.
I always have to look in a mirror to wipe all the black clumps under my eyes and brows.
You don’t usually expect that, buying a mascara from NARS, right?
As a result, I’m very disappointed. The design is flawless. It appears on my lashes awesome but all that black mess around my eyes just kills all the good about it.
I won’t ever repurchase.
Unless they release the water-proof version of it. Then maybe, I’ll give it a go.
