Again, I’m writing about a NYX product, namely about the Butter Gloss, which gave me a mixed impression.
I have many faves by NYX, but no cosmetic brand can launch perfect products only, and this lip gloss is the best illustration for this simple truth.
I have no complaints about design: typical package, the color of the tube corresponds to the color of the product itself.
My color is BLG 32, it’s such a beautiful pink.

Now let’s get real. It’s a typical lip gloss, and there are thousands like it in any make-up store. There is nothing special about it.
It has a regular formula, runny and sticky.
Swatches in different lighting:
It’s applied effortlessly and doesn’t come off. It feels pleasant on my lips, gives moisture, doesn’t dry my lips out, but can settle into creases.
In a few hours, a whitish film appears on my lips, but the lip gloss doesn’t come off and it still looks decent.
It’s hard to evaluate this product. It doesn’t deserve 4 or 5 stars, as there are many better lip glosses for the same price, but I can’t also give it 1 or 2 stars, as it isn’t the worst lip gloss ever.
So, I can give this product 3 stars, and my conscience is clear. At first, I liked this lip gloss, but after I’ve taken a closer look on my lips I realized that it’s not that good. The lip gloss is wearable, and all these disadvantages aren’t that noticeable, but they irritate me still.
