In this review I want to tell about a very interesting new product from NYX - Metal Lip Cream. In the line there is a range of very beautiful stunning colors!
I have it in 02 FUCHSIA FUSION.
The packaging

The applicator
I think it’s quite a standard one, a bit of a flat tip and slightly turned up which only makes it convenient to work with. It’s soft and easily applies the product.
The consistency
It’s very thick and creamy, it totally covers the natural color of the lips. It applies with no bare spots.
The color
The color is very bright with shimmer in. It is really metallic.
The lipstick is very comfortable to wear, there’s no stickiness and only comfortable feelings.
Sometimes it can get on your teeth, so you need to be careful about that so as not to get into an embarrassing situation.
The products doesn’t dry totally which means that it may leave spots while kissing or eating.
To avoid shimmer getting onto the lips I advise using a napkin and to take off the extra amount of the lipstick that you don’t need. After that, there’ll be no spots of shimmer on the lips and the lipstick color will become slightly faded.
It’s not so easy to wash it off, I need some cotton pads with micellar water to remove it. But it washes away completely leaving no pigment on the lips, returning them to their natural color.
How long can it stay on the lips?
Not very long I would say. Of course if you don’t kiss or eat, the product will last for a few hours, but later you’ll need to reapply it. If you eat, drink etc. the product will eventually fade away.
A definite advantage is that the product doesn’t dry my lips at all.
Overall I can say that my lipstick color is not for everyday wearing, but if we speak about some special occasions or photoshoots - it’ll be perfect!
