Hello my dear readers! Today we’ll talk about the limited edition Electro Brights lipsticks from NYX. I have mine in the shade #03 Rio de Janeiro. At first, I wanted to go for the minty shade called Whistles but then I couldn’t decide on where to wear it and stopped on this neon lilac shade.
The tube is very similar to the Soft Matte Lip Cream collection.

The color is to die for. I haven’t met any dupes of it before! How come I could dream of a minty shade when they’ve got this beauty right here?

The applicator is also like of the Soft Cream as well as the aroma. it’s pleasant and sweet. After application, I can’t detect it.

The good:
+ the shade is so trendy and neon lilac;
+ the formula is long-wearing;
+ it applies and distributes well;
+ I can get by without prior lip lining. It’s very easy to outline my lips with the featured applicator;
+ it doesn’t fade away during the day.
The bad:
- it stains my lips. And this stain isn’t smooth. During the day, my lip color shifts to red-pink.
This new product looks too identical with the Soft Matte Lip Cream collection. Even characteristics-wise. The quality of the lipstick changes and it’s highly sensitive to the shade of the product. All the neon and bright shades are always difficult. My shade #03 offers all the typical issues of the bright purple pigment.
I can’t say that its drawbacks are fatal but I still have to take off a star for them.
