Earlier I had been using a translucent matifying powder from Essence, but after it ran low, I started looking for something better and opted for the NYX powder that I had actually never tried before.
I snapped it up at the NYX beauty corner.

Packaging:
The powder comes in a flat and transparent pan with a black cap. It looks really stylish.
Inside it had a protective film to avoid spilling of the product.
Since the pan has huge vent holes, the powder is constantly spilling.
At first I was sticking the protective film back after each use, but it stopped sticking after a while, so I tossed it in the garbage.
So, this powder can be used at home only, as it spills so easily in a handbag. Upon opening it up, it flies every which way!
There is no sponge or brush included.
The grind and texture:
The powder is extremely finely milled. I’ve never had anything like this before. The powder is white and reminds me of baby powder or powdered sugar.
The vent gives too much of the product at a time. Moreover, the brush picks up too much of it too, so that when I tap the brush, everything is covered in the powder. You should get the hang of it.
This stuff is non-scented. I even sniffed at it very closely, but I haven’t noticed any smell. However, I was sneezing after that.
It goes a really long way, but it constantly spills and flies every which way, so half of the product is wasted.
Application:
It applies to my skin without fuss. A few swipes with a brush and you have a perfectly matte face! It doesn’t whiten your skin, even though it’s white.
Also, it neither emphasizes peeling nor sets into wrinkles or in the wings of my nose. It doesn’t give any color to my skin, but makes it only matte yet alive.
While I was taking pictures of the highlighter on my face, I noticed that THIS POWDER IS REALLY NOTICEABLE IN PHOTOS, although it is not in person!

Be careful when using this product at your wedding or prom. Otherwise you may look ‘floury.’
The powder makes the foundation last longer. Your makeup will look the same as it was in the morning. It makes your skin even, smooth and matte.
It’s a perfect addition for girls with oily to combination skin types, as it absorbs sebum perfectly.
This powder is all natural, because there is only silica in the ingredients.

It doesn’t dry out my skin or clog my pores. I didn’t break out after use, plus it feels absolutely undetectable on my skin!
I recommend it to everyone who wants to eliminate oily sheen and make their makeup last longer
