There are thousands of young people admiring Kylie Jenner’s lips (Kim Kardashian’s little sister) and we always see her with her perfect matte lipstick on. The truth is that usually she doesn’t wear lipstick. She wears the MAC lip pencil in the shade Whirl. The thing is that NYX in the color Mauve is considered to be the MAC’s cheaper dupe. And you see, one year ago, when I decided to buy the NYX lip pencil for myself, I couldn’t find it anywhere. It was permanently sold out. It took me a year to get this pencil in this very shade.
When I eventually bought it, I understood why there’s so much hype about this product. The pencil is very soft! It applies well, doesn’t stretch my lips and is uber pigmented. What’s more it stays on very long and looks stunning.
As any other lip pencil, this one dries my lips a little. If I don’t exfoliate my lips before, it will accentuate flaking and small wrinkles. But anyway, it looks astonishing!
I like this MAUVE color. It’s very trendy and fashionable. I can’t pick the right words to describe this shade: maybe pale plum or dark lilac, I don’t know. The only thing I know is that the color is very intense and complicated. It flatters a fair complexion putting an accent on the lips.
This product is my must-have for winter! On my lips it looks more purple, while on other girls it may look nude brown or even red-brown.
I’ll purchase other shades from the collection, as I’m obsessed with this lip pencil and I’m sure that all the others are the same in quality and characteristics.
