This is what a perfect brush should be like when it comes to an eyebrow mascara:
• Size: the brush is small, which is fine for both thick or thin brows.
• Shape: it’s tapered and the thin tip is super comfy to fill in my sparse areas.
• Stiffness: the bristles here aren’t soft, they are stiff to some extent and I appreciate how well they hold my brows.
• The product is easy to take out without any superfluous amount.
• It’s convenient to work with. The pigment applies and sits on my brow hairs well.
Very light and creamy. It doesn’t clump or bleed. But still, the consistency is very close to being thick. The formula applies well over my hairs and skin. It sets quickly, literally within one minute. After that, the product won’t budge or fade away.

The color selection isn’t wide, though, but still, it’s got all the basic shades there: Blonde (for all fair-haired gals with nordic face features), Chocolate (light brown with a warm undertone, for chestnut and blonde ones), Brunette (brow shade for brunettes and all dark-haired girls), Espresso (cool brown color, which is universal and flatters everyone), Black (black-brown, the darkest color in the collection for the darkest brows).
The most important feature of this NYX brow product is that it isn’t semi-sheer. It isn’t a brow gel or a setting pigmented cream product.
The shade Chocolate isn’t too fair, you know. It isn’t dark either. It’s perfect for blondes and chestnut-haired people. It’s more like warm-toned. This is exactly what I was looking for because I already have MAYBELLINE Color Tattoo for taupe brows.

Why are brow mascaras so good? It’s obvious that they are super easy to use and they don’t devour too much of your time to apply. Here you won’t have to shape your brows, the product will do everything for you: it’ll fill in the sparse areas, make them look thicker, color your eyebrows and set them in place. Result: beautiful brows within seconds.
How do I use this NYX Tinted Brow Mascara?
• First of all, I make sure that my brows are clean and swipe a cotton round with micellar water over them. I give them some time to dry out. It’s high time to show you how my eyebrows look without any makeup on (4 weeks after dying them).

• After that, I just take out some formula with a brush and start filling in my brows, as though combing them. All the hairs go up and the sparse areas look filled in with pigments.
• My brows look more voluminous and shaped.
• The result looks natural and perfect for daytime makeup.
• The color payoff of the mascara can be easily controlled: from a more natural look to a saturated and bold result. Here, for instance, I applied the mascara with one coat:

I want to speak about the setting properties of this brow mascara: it sets my hairs, that’s true but I can’t say that it’s the best setting ever. If you’re going to have a busy day, then I advise you to use a setting brow gel as well but make sure that the mascara has dried down so as not to smudge the pigment.
It’s excellent. The product stays on during the day, it doesn’t smudge or bleed even when it’s hot. No crumbling or falling off was noticed. I know that the setting power could be better but after all, it isn’t a setting gel. For a brow mascara, the result is more than just good.
It isn’t a problem to cleanse it off with cleansing oil and a facial cleanser. One can also feel free to use micellar water.
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara is a successful product in all the respects: excellent brush, easy application. staying power and color selection. I love this brow mascara and I’ll be very glad to repurchase.
