Pros: animal cruelty-free, beautiful bronze shade, hypoallergenic, oil-free, paraben-free, spf 20
Cons: the packaging is flimsy

For my whole life, I used to avoid bronzer and bronzing powders because people in the streets with red cheeks really terrify me. However, every summer (not only summer, though), different makeup brands release so many beautiful bronzers of golden shades which really tempt me. One day I decided to try one of them out!

What is a bronzer?

It’s a powder of a bronzing shade. It’s aimed for making the complexion look sun-kissed and glowing. This powder can be either matte or shimmer infused.

Price: $10

It comes with two shades: Light to medium and medium to dark. I have the second version because I bought it for summer and I don’t regret because it doesn’t look red even over my rather fair skin. So natural.

Packaging:

The product was packed with a box, which was too small for it because it was bubbling out. Not pleasant, you know.

When I was trying to take the compact out of that box, I scratched the letter on the casing.

You see, the packaging is flimsy anyway. It isn’t of good quality. When I open it, I always open two sections at once, I mean the powder and the brush. I’m afraid that it’ll break one day.

The bronzer comes with a brush. I don’t use it and I have never even tried to apply the product with it because it’s badly packed.

The mirror is standard. In general, it isn’t bad but really very flimsy.

Bronzer:

The print on the bronzer is magnificent. I even feel sorry to use it. In the middle, there’s a pale pink circle in there. The texture is powdery.

The product is tightly pressed and doesn’t dust.

The brush applies it nicely and I like how well it distributes the product.

By the way, it’s infused with golden shimmer, which doesn’t sit on my face.

There’s no smell at all.

Product description:

I can’t detect any moisture from it. However, it doesn’t dry out my skin either.

How to apply:

Thanks to Vogue and other famous makeup artists, now I know how to apply the bronzer right. I use it and I adore the result. One should apply it not to the places where we usually use sculpting powder but all over the high points of the face - the places where the sun kisses us first.

The product on my face:

I’m pleased with my shade - from medium to dark, because it doesn’t seem dark on my skin at all.

It looks refreshing and nice. I can’t say that it’s red or anything.

The formula can be packed and it doesn’t apply with patches. My makeup doesn’t look heavy with it on.

I apply it with circular motions with my squirrel brush from Real Techniques over my powdered face.

Here, I intentionally applied more than needed to show you the shimmering glow.

I use this bronzer when it’s sunny outside. I don’t pair it with a sculpting powder, just apply a little bit of blusher and a highlighter for the freshest skin look. The staying power is usual but my skin isn’t oily.

In summer I can use it all over my face instead of a powder.

I’m delighted with my purchase. I only wish that the packaging wasn’t so flimsy. So, I had to take off 1 star.

I also attach some photos of the box from different sides.
