I’m gonna show you why I dislike the gel with argan oil from the Brow This Way line.
I’ve tried countless brow gels so far, and it’s hard to surprise me. Unfortunately, Rimmel did so, and not in a good way.
First, the opening of the bottle is way too wide and the stopper doesn’t work at all. Too much product sticks to the brush, and it’s almost impossible to use it on the brows which aren’t thick.
Secondly, the giant brush. The clumps stick between these spiral bristles.
Thirdly: the #02 medium is reddish brown. The key word: reddish.
I wouldn’t call myself ham-handed, but I cannot apply this brow gel onto my eyebrows without making a mess.
That’s just impossible. One must either use a napkin to take the extra amount off the brush before application or clean up the fallout with a cotton swab. But I don’t want to do so! There are so many brow gels out there that do their job without such problems.
Finally, it doesn’t fix even my soft eyebrows. I mean, if I put on a high neck blouse right after the application of this brow gel, my eyebrows will bristle!
The only thing that delights me is that the brow gel makes my eyebrows soft and natural-looking. They aren’t matte, too shimmery or too solid.
The bottom line: there are so many great budget-friendly brow gels nowadays, but the Rimmel Brow Gel with Argan Oil is definitely not one of them.
