Recently, I found this product in a beauty box. It seems weird, Brow Highlighting Gel from Sephora. I love the brand and I’ve got an awesome concealer and eyeshadow from them. But a Highlighting Brow Gel, that’s something that even sounds scary.
Taking the ball before the bound I want to say that sometimes it feels like they put everything in beauty boxes they can’t retail in stores.
Who is to use this product? Maybe it’ll suit some theme party or some occasion but it doesn’t fit into daily work-home life. And yeah, I really doubt that I’d ever take it with me on holiday.
As for the color, a miss here too. In fact, I don’t get why they fill the beauty boxes with such specific makeup bits?
The full price of the product is pretty affordable - $12.

The gel tube is small. I have it in the shade #02 Light Blonde.
I also had a chance to look at the other 2 shades and they’re pretty odd too.
It wasn’t a problem to open it. I could get by even without scissors:

I don’t know. Maybe I don’t get anything and it’s the new trend to have golden brows?
What party or music festival dress code requires it? Okay, let's leave it alone, maybe some people love it and it’s all matter of taste.
As for the product, it’s nice in quality. Within the first seconds I rubbed it a lot:
There were some shimmer bits to stay on my fingertip. But within 20 seconds the gel set on my skin and there wasn’t a bit to flake off.

The most interesting part - my nude brows.
They aren’t flawless but I usually get enough when I shape and fill them in with a taupe brow powder.
But here, I want to wear it over my nude brows.
A few strokes with a brush and my brows are… shining!
By the way, the brush is awesome. I wish I could apply a regular brow gel with it. It’s super convenient. And again, I want to praise the quality of the gel too.
My brows are easy to shape with it. After the first application, I have some time to touch-up and shape my brows. After setting, the gel and my brows seem to live through a hurricane. The setting is phenomenal.
It doesn’t dread water either unless you rub it.
However, one cotton pad with cleansing milk and the second one with micellar water will take it off with ease.
In the picture, it’s rather hard to show you the true shine of my brows with this gel. But in life, it’s so obvious! Too obvious, I’d say!
It’s easier to catch that glow under lamp lights:
I know that my natural brow tone doesn’t suit here but the darker shade offers bronze undertone and it’s also shimmering. Only the base there is of a different color. As for the shimmer, it really glows and sparkles. There aren’t any other shades. I guess they get that the product won’t be hyped, so it’s very unlikely we see the color collection expanding.
If we’re to compare, we’ll see that my brows look better and shaped. But I can’t walk with my brows glowing like this in life. And I don’t even want to. I don’t know how to fit this product into my makeup routine.
So, I won’t recommend it because of the impractical aspect. Make it shimmer-less, expand the color selection and a gorgeous brow gel is here. Besides, it’s rather affordable. But no.
I give it 5 stars for the quality, or else it would be wrong. Aside from the shimmer finish, I love the quality of this product.
