this baby Boy Brow gel looks super cute
This Boy Brow gel is probably currently the most hyped and popular product by the trendy Glossier brand. Beauty bloggers sing praises to it and girls all over the world throw away all their brow products in a hurry to replace them with this product. Does it really live up to the hype? Let’s find out.
This Boy Brow gel appeared in my pouch about 6 months ago. I’ve been using it almost every day alone, as well as paired it with my eyebrow powder to make my brows look brighter. And you know, I have to tell you that I liked the results! And this small babe of 3g is still almost full and isn't going to be used up.
I have my product in the color Brown.
There are 4 colors in the collection all in all: clear, blond, brown and black. And I want to tell you that, in my opinion, the brown color seems to be the most versatile and flattering to everybody. I have gray-brown hair, which I either bleach fair-brown or dye to a chestnut brown color.
And this Glossier product adjusts to all my changes nicely!

This is what the product says:
Our all-in-one brow fluffer, filler, and shaper.
All brow needs have been considered to create THE brow product: one to thicken, fill in, and groom brows into place. The creamy wax formula is inspired by traditional hair pomade for soft, flexible hold that doesn’t stiffen or flake. Comes in four shades: Blond, Brown, and Black boost brows with an oomph of color, while Clear gives you the same soft, conditioning hold minus the pigment. We’re inspired by healthy, face-framing brows and consider brow grooming the last crucial step to heading out into the world: brush your teeth, brush your brows, and then maybe brush your hair.
As you can see, this Glossier product promises to replace all your brow products.
So, let’s pass over to the show!
I’d better start with a convenient brush, which is so nice to brush my brows with and set them in places where I want them to be.
the brush is small and really convenient to distribute the gel all over my eyebrows
And now a few words about my brows.
Hello, I’m Viel and I used to have really bushy brows, but when I was young I over plucked them and since then I can’t make them look full and thick again. However, I have to tell you that henna is a lifesaver for me. I do tinting about once a month and of course during that time the tint disappears, but the shape doesn't and I do remember it!
my nude brows
This is what my nude brows look like:
my brows with the gel on
Here I applied some gel. As you can see my brows now look brighter and more textured. In general my brows are filled and there aren’t any significant patches. But I usually don’t want to stop here and also apply my brow powder. (And it’s noteworthy that usually I apply the powder first and then some gel. But it’s also possible to do it vice versa. Now I started with the gel for clarity. I think there’s no difference in the results.
gel + brow powder
This is the result I get right after the application. Some time later the gel gets darker and my brows look much brighter. And in fact, my brows look better and better over time, rather than right after application!
my made up brows by the artificial light
This is how the results look like by the artificial lights. Cute, isn’t it?
The gel doesn’t stiffen my brow hairs and doesn’t flake off or crease. It doesn’t change or look different during wear. The longer I wear it, the better it looks. I think that it’s impossible to tell whether my brows are covered with the gel or not.
The product nicely tames even my bushy brows.
And a small bonus - the same gel, plus some other darker shade of the brow powder. I used to use Lumene Blueberry before and I can’t say that it looked awful, but the Boy Brow gives much more setting. The Lumene product had a really big brush, which was impossible to shape my brows naturally. Of course I recommend you visit the Glossier corner and buy this product.
The gel costs $16 on the official site.
Let your brows look dazzling always!
