Today’s review is about the LipStories collection, namely Trippin and Love Love shades.
Packaging: the design is eye-catching, but the case itself is flimsy. Plus it’s hard to open the case.
Trippin: it’s quite an unusual, pastel lilac color, by all means spectacular and striking. It’s for girls who love experiments. Claims to be matte.
Love Love: it’s a calm nude color, creamy and beige. It’s also supposed to be matte.
The lipsticks apply smoothly, the pigmentation is great even in one swipe. The color is rich and corresponds to the color of the case. But it isn’t matte. Even after a while, there is gloss on the lips.
Durability: both shades can survive a few hours and a snack. After two hours, they start to fade so it’s recommended to touch up during the day.
Fragrance: both lipsticks are scented and the fragrance lingers on the lipstick for a while, but it isn’t overwhelming.
That’s how they look on the lips:
I do advise you try out the line, as I love the color range and pigmentation. I would have preferred if these were matte but it doesn’t really matter.
Hope the review for useful! See you soon!
