I’ve never been a fan of the Shiseido brand. You know, sometimes it happens when you feel that it isn’t yours and that’s all. But recently, the brand became more interesting and I decided it was high time to meet it with the most curious new product - Whipped Powder Blush.
Packaging: It’s a heavy, thick glass(?) with a liner inside and a top cap. Everything is throughout here, the product is nice to open yet it doesn’t dry down quickly.

The texture is whipped. It’s really pleasant, as though a yummy dessert in a restaurant.

Shades: As far as I know, the collection has 8 shades. I have two of them: 02 Chiyoko which is a crazy neon pink peony blush in the pan and a lightweight and natural pink flush on my skin.

And 05 Ayao which is a saturated plum shade in the packaging and a natural frosty cheek finish on the skin (It’ll be perfect for vinous and alike lipsticks).

Both shades are absolutely matte and shimmer-free.
My impressions of use
If I were to put it shortly, these are the most elementary blushes to use and the most natural-looking ones in the world.
Thanks to the moussy whipped texture, the products are easy to apply even with your fingertip. I usually apply them this way and then blend out with a sponge a little.
The pigmentation after blending is semi-sheer, that very water-color from Shiseido. They’re easy to pack to the desired finish but for daily makeup, I get everything from one layer.
I know many people who reject blushes in their makeup because they’re afraid to look unnatural or apply the products with patches and streaks. With this Minimalist blush, even a newbie can do their best. Your cheeks will never look like stained or anything.
The finish is natural as it is, nothing more or less.
The staying power on normal or dry skin is also excellent. As for oily skin, I think it would be better to set them with a powder then.

Now, these are my favorite cream blushes. They’re so simple to use and so gorgeous on my skin.
