Hi everyone!
After reading a good deal of positive reviews, I’ve decided to purchase the Sisley Phyto Teint Eclat foundation too. However, it turned out to be quite difficult, as the shades available were too dark for me.
The lightest shade was No. 0 + Vanilla. It didn’t suit my skin tone perfectly, because it was too light, but I decided to give it a go, as the next color was already dark.
Sisley Phyto Teint Eclat Fluid Foundation # 0+ Vanilla:
The bad:
The color range is so bad. All the shades are either too light or too dark for me.
Disgusting smell. The foundation smells tangy and really off-putting. Thank God the smell is undetectable while wearing.
Doesn’t go a long way and requires twice the amount of similar foundation of another brand. The texture is too liquid.
The product is too pricey. I find the price of $80 to be too hefty for a foundation.
Unfortunately, no miracles happened. My T-zone had an oily sheen after a few hours as well as with any other foundation.
Emphasizes peeling a little bit.
The shade is a teeny bit noticeable on my skin, because it’s too light for me.
I didn’t get why the foundation is called Phyto, because it contains the same chemicals and silicones as most other foundations.
The good:
I guess that someone will find me to be too picky, but you know, I wouldn’t have any complaints about such a foundation if it costed $10-15. I paid quite a huge amount of money for this product, so I had high hopes for that.
I wouldn’t recommend this foundation, as I believe that, for ex., the Make Up For Ever High Definition Foundation, the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation or the Dior Foundation perform better and have nicer prices.
Price: around $80
Thank you for your attention!
