Tarte Glide & Go Buttery Lipstick
I found the mini of this Glide & Go lipstick in a set from Tarte Double Duty Beauty.
Tarte Glide & Go Buttery Lipstick
The feature of this collection is that every shade has its own design. For instance, the Pink Palm shade has the palms on it.
Also, there are products with watermelon, sunglasses, hearts and even bikes print on it.
6. Packaging: cute cardboard casing. The material wasn’t chosen by chance. The idea is that the brand is cruelty-free.
The casing isn’t flimsy. I've been carrying it in my handbag and nothing bad has happened to it. The casing doesn’t even suffer from my sharp nails.

The stick sits safely in the case.

9. Impressions of use:
The product is good characteristics-wise - it’s comfortable to wear and apply. The texture is lightweight, moisturizing and it doesn’t accentuate my skin blemishes. I can even say that it conceals them.
The stick has a minty smell, which I don’t feel on my lips afterward. My lips get a slight cooling effect within the first couple of minutes.
The pigmentation isn’t the best. It doesn’t cover up my natural lip color even if I pack it. But for me that’s great!
The first and the main advantage of the product is a non-drying formula. It’s skin friendly and moisturizing. However, if your lips are chapped, the lippie will only visually even out that flaw and after removing your lips will be as chapped as before.
The second thing that I appreciate is the color. I think that I received a very flattering shade for me. It’ll be easy to fit into my spring makeup. Nowadays I wear it almost every day. The product doesn’t require any lip priming. That’s also good.
I prefer carrying it with me and touch-up at any moment.
The third thing that rocks my socks off is that beautiful glossy finish. It looks stunning under the sunbeams. Again, I love wearing it now when the sun is shining.

It doesn’t feather or leaves any patchy finish (even though the color looks uneven in the swatch. On my lips, the finish is semi-sheer and that flaw isn’t a flaw anymore).
The lasting power is average. The pigment disappears even after a cup of tea, even if I don’t eat anything. It disappears after a meal completely, remaining only on my lip edges.
If no meal or drinks, it’ll stay for 2 hours.
In fact, it’s like a tinting lip balm, I think.
It’s very easy to remove. It can be wiped off with a dry cotton round or with a tissue. All the pigments will be instantly removed.

OVERALL:
moisturizing formula
it doesn’t accentuate my lip blemishes
it doesn’t require lip priming
the shade Pink Palm is advantageous for me - delicate pink undertone with a sheer yet glossy finish
pack the product if you want to get a very bright and pink payoff
the cardboard casing might look flimsy but within a month and a half there’s nothing bad happened to it, despite the constant carrying in my purse
the staying power is below average
the price seems too high
I’m pleased with this Tarte Glide & Go Buttery Lipstick. It’s like a lip balm for me, which is also tinted. I recommend it for everyone who loves lightweight textures and sheer finishes.
My rate - 4 stars.
