Eyeshadow primer is an essential product for me. It holds and blends my eyeshadows perfectly well. So I’m eager to share my opinion about the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Anti-Aging.
The tube is of compact size, which automatically makes the product absolutely travel-friendly. In its design I can clearly see the UD’s style - very neat, beautiful and purple colors. The tube features a cute plastic bedazzled cap.
There are two options of the size of the product - 5ml and 10ml. Since such product as the eyeshadow primer goes a really long way, I advice to opt for the smaller size to definitely use it up within the expiry date.
The primer has a doe foot applicator, which takes out the right amount of the product.
I’m 23 years old, and you may ask me a rather logical question. Why anti-aging then? And I’ll answer you that all the long-lasting eyeshadow primers dry out my eyelid's skin very much. And the same happened with the
UD Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I was so upset about it. So this time I decided to try out the anti-aging product, as there are a lot of moisturizing and soothing ingredients.
The texture of this product is quite creamy and oily to the touch (original primer was a tad drier). The product is very easy to apply on the lids. It will even and sooth your lid immediately and won’t define flaking if you have it.
As a result I noticed that this anti-age product dries my skin less and I can even say that it moisturizes it! At the same time it provides me with a great staying power of my shadows, not even a minute less than the original one.
Your make up with this product will last from 8 am till 12 pm looking as though just applied.
The main rule is to apply a small drop of the product and blend it out thoroughly.
Even though Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Anti-Aging is a tad beige, it won’t conceal discoloration on your eyelids.
This primer makes my eyeshadows look brighter. In my collection there aren't really any bad pigmented eyeshadows, but even on this swatch you can see that they look brighter on this primer.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Anti-Aging is my favorite eyeshadow primer! It locks in shadow and holds it all day long. As a bonus, it takes care of my skin and doesn’t dry it at all. I use this primer every other day when I do my make-up. I'm so sure that I’ll repurchase it once I use this one up. Of course, only if I stop my experiments and constant search of something better.
To create this make-up I used UD primer and the eyeshadows from my Tarte Tartelette In Bloom palette.
