Hey!
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Long-lasting Eyeshadow Base.
I started my acquaintance with the UD products with this primer. All make-up artists as well as beauty bloggers describe it as a product which will add longevity to your eye make-up and make it look brighter. I consider that if there are more than 5 people talking about the product, I definitely need to try it out. So, I ordered this product in a travel size version and having received it I understood that my life would never be the same again.
Size: mini - 5 ml
Spending: a little goes a really long way.
Packaging: the product arrived to me in a cardboard box.
Inside there was a two-sided instruction in different languages.
And of course the primer itself (the old version looked like a tube of toothpaste)
The most important is to screw the tube well, or else it’ll start getting dry and thicker.
Color: beige, but it’ll look transparent on your eyelids. The first time I applied this primer on my eyes it seemed to be too fair for me, but when I blended it out, the color adjusted to my skin color. I took a photo of the primer straight after the blending.
Texture: It’s very soft, light and gentle. After I blend out the product, it seems as though my eyelid is powdered. And there’s no stickiness. Straight after the application of the product onto my skin I noticed that:
1. My eyeshadows start apply more evenly
2. There are no patches or clumps
3. The colors becomes more intense and bold
4. On my oily eyelids the shadow holds as though it’s stuck
5. It’s difficult to remove with my cleansers, I do it with micellar water only
6. My skin isn’t felt dry or tightened
7. This primer adds longevity
8. The eyeshadows become easy to blend
To show you how the primer works I applied one bright and one dark shimmer hues on my arm (they are so finicky without a primer). In the middle they are applied on the primed skin, and there’s no primer at the edges.
But, to make all the listed above things work, you need to follow one very important rule. And this is: always apply the primer evenly and with a very thin layer.
If you were reading my review attentively enough, I presume that you’ve already guessed that I do RECOMMEND this product.
