Urban Decay recently filled their collection of Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner with some more shades which currently couts into 18 absolutely cosmic gorgeous colors, 8 of them are brand new! So, what’s the difference between this product and the Gel Glitter from the same collection? The thing is that the liner consists of the smallest glitter bits which make it possible to fit into daily makeup, while gel-glitter is more like a festive and photoshoot option for outrageous looks.

Design: The liner is packed in a see-through tube with a silver top cap. It was also packed into a thick paper box of holographic color.

Given all that, the consistency is gelee. Thanks to it, the glitter will never sit down on the bottom of the tube and you won’t have to shake it each time before use.
Speaking of the consistency, I’d like to mention that it’s thick to some extent and the shimmer is very concentrated here. Even when I apply it with one layer, the line already looks smooth and patch-free.

The bristles are well packed and take out the optimal amount of the product and the tapered end ensures super precise lines.
Use
Thanks to the jet-milled shimmer, the glow from the product is rather delicate. So, one can even fit it into daily makeup. This Goldmine shade will be great to pair with warm eyeshadows which deepen the color of green eyes so nicely.
When I apply it with one layer and don’t use any base color, the sparkle is minimal and appears as though a thousand of water drops spilled on my eyes.

I like pairing it with black eyeliner. I build-up 2 layers for a more sparkling and visible shimmer payoff.

You can see some glitter on my eyes and it seems harmonious and never vulgar in my makeup.

I’d like to stop on the wear time. The product stays on me till the moment I take it off. During the day, there’s never a bit of it to fall out. Taking all that, the product is no way an issue when it comes to removing. I experimented and tried to wipe it off with a cotton pad soaked with water and I did it!
