Hey guys!
This duo consists of a bronzer and a highlighter, and since many beauty bloggers said that it can work as a contouring kit, I decided to give it a try, just out of curiosity.
This is a relatively young English brand, they don’t test their stuff on animals and produce good and affordable cosmetic products.
Outer appearance:
The W7 Hollywood kit is housed in a solid plastic box. Both shades are tightly pressed and doesn’t crumble. The bronzer is brown, neutral and a bit warm. It would go with swarthy skin.
The highlighter is warm, champagne, but darker than most highlighters. I’d say it’s coffee with a lot of milk. I find this color a bit too dark for myself.
About my experience:
When the kit arrived last winter, I realized it’s a bronzer, and that’s it. It can bronze your skin, but only if you’re tanned. If your skin is pale, this bronzer will look odd on you.
I’ve been using other bronzers lately and bought this one only as an alternative.
Actually, I don’t have any problems with this kit, I just don’t understand how one can use this kit for contouring. It’s not neutral or cold, it’s warm...like a bronzer.
You can contour your face only if your skin is tanned, otherwise it would look reddish.
Review summary:
- Can’t be used all year round
- The bronzer is warm and looks great on tanned skin
- The highlighter is too dark to be called versatile
- It’s a good value for money
