Hey!

CONTOURING! CONTOURING!

CONTOURING!

Contouring is losing ground now and is more and more replaced by strobing techniques (the technique of highlighting particular face features). And I’m so happy, as I’m so tired of these stripey faces!

I’ve never liked creamy products and creamy contouring either. While contouring, the most important is to apply the right amount of the product as there’s a risk to end up looking like a badger.

When I bought this palette I had a rather fair complexion and there was no need for me to use dark shades, as it was obviously with warm undertones. But the summer came, I got a little bit tanned and everything has changed and I fell in love with this bronzer.

PACKAGING. The packaging looks cheap, that’s true but considering the price of the product I can see the reason. In general it looks good.

The palette consists of two refill pans with fair and dark powders. The powders are nicely pressed which I really like as there’s no mixture of the products and muddy looking packaging as a result.

SHADE E7491 Dulce de Leche. I think it's like “caramelized milk” in English.

  • the dark shade really resembles the caramelized milk color. It makes my skin look “sun kissed.”

  • the lighter shade has yellow undertones and it reminds me of face power. Smile I can’t use it to highlight some areas of my face as it looks matte. I don’t like matte highlighters as I don't understand the reason what to use them for.

THE TEXTURE is matte and sandy. When I pick the product up with the brush, it dusts a lot. It translates onto the skin without staining or patches.

THE PIGMENTATION isn’t very good. But I consider it as a plus rather than a minus in terms of everyday use. The product is buildable and if you want to see the exact color on your face as in the packaging, then layer the product.

AROMA: There’s no aroma to the product.

LASTING POWER: Usually all dry textured products stay on my skin very well and this Wet n Wild product isn’t any exception.

INGREDIENTS:Talc, Nylon-12, Boron Nitride, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Ethyl Macadamiate, Dimethicone, Magnesium Myristate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Phenoxyethanol, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Lauroyl Lysine, Caprylyl Glycol, Polybutene, Hexylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopherol, o-Cymen-5-ol, Methicone (in shade 749A), [+/- (MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR): Mica, Iron Oxides/CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, Titanium Dioxide/CI 77891, Red 40 Lake/CI 16035, Yellow 5 Lake/CI 19140, Ultramarines/CI 77007].

SIZE: 12.5g for 2 refill pans.

PRICE: $4.99

MADE IN the USA

CONCLUSION: the palette is very easy to use, yet if you have fair complexion be careful as dark products may look red on you. But if you are tan or swarthy - then this palette is definitely for you!

The products apply well, they are great while blending, even though they are dusty during application. As the light shade is useless for me and I can’t make up my mind what to use it for, I give the palette 4 stars in total and recommend purchasing SmileThanks for reading!

When you decide to take up the contouring technique, it sometimes becomes tricky. I found it rather difficult as I couldn’t find good products to highlight and darken my face. And actually Wet n Wild came to help me out. The palette is just perfect for contouring.
