Finally, I bought these ANNY nail polishes . And now I’m ready to make a review of 8 colors that I possess.
Well I’ll start off with these two coral babes. This summer I was in a coral mood and was always wearing these: № 172 Upper East Side Chick and № 135 Coral Reef
№ 172 Upper East Side Chick.
It’s a gentle coral hue that changes its shade depending on the lighting. It varies from light orange to cool toned pink color. Look at the photos: (3 layers)

The products are rather runny consistency-wise, that’s why it’ll be better to apply 3 layers. It streaks even if applied twice, so thrice is the best option. It doesn’t go bubbly and never flows to my cuticle. I find it easy to apply and spread over my nail plate. The brush is convenient (I’ll make a more detailed review of it below). It takes up to 10 minutes for the product to dry. But I always use a top coat to add longevity and shine. By the way, the longevity-- this nail polish stays on my nails for 4 days without any chips or blemishes, even if I’m busy with household chores. I find it easy to remove the product with any lacquer remover. After that my nails never look yellow or stained. The only drawback about the Upper East Side Chick for me is its runny consistency, hence I have to spend more time on my mani if I opt for this color. But for its bright and summery color, I’m ready to forgive this “time eater”. I’d assess this color with 5 stars with a minus
The next babe is № 135 Coral Reef it’s so beautiful that I’m wordless to describe it!
It’s a madly bright summer-like coral nail polish. This one is the most summer-looking out of all I possess. It beautifully matches my skin color, especially when I’m tanned!
Let’s have a look at it in different lighting:
It looks so neon! :)

It’s gorgeous, isn’t it? And its technical characteristics are also above praise. The consistency of the Coral Reef isn’t runny which allows me to apply it with only one layer. As for application, longevity and any other characteristics this one resembles the Upper East Side Chick. The only difference is in the consistency, hence the Coral Reef gets its deserved 5 stars from me!
Then let’s pass over to the nude color. № 303 Spice Thing.
Daylight
As you can see it’s the perfect nude color as it is. Light beige with a hint of pink hue.
Flashlight
Usually I wear it solo or add a top coat over it like here for example.
Top coating
Nude colors can be a little bit whimsical and difficult to work with from time to time. But this one’s different. Consistency-wise it’s like a light cream that covers my nails with 2 layers best of all. It doesn’t streak or bubble. It stays on for more than a week easily! And yet there are no problems removing it. It’s just a must for those who don't want to spend much time on their mani and those who love long-staying nail lacquers.
I fell for this creamy texture so much that I bought one more color of the same consistency.
№ 200 Purple Rain.
Flashlight
Dark creamy purple color that looks really bright and vivid in the sun. In the daylight it looks strict and will be great for office ladies.
Daylight
If solo looks too boring for you than you can easily apply some top coating over it and enliven the look. Here I put some accents on my middle and ring fingers.
Top coating
Technically it is the same as the Purple Rain. The consistency is thick that’s why one coating here is enough. The product doesn’t leave streaks or bubbles. It’s easy to apply and fast to dry. Despite the mad glossy shine, I still prefer to coat it with the quick drying top coat to make the lacquer stay on longer. The longevity is about 4-6 days. The removal is easy and quick.
The next color is № 530 Must Have. The name of the product speaks to itself!
Daylight
You all probably know it. This color is usually compared with the famous Chanel Paradoxal. And yep, these ones really look alike. Must Have is a gray-ish brown color with a lilac shimmer that is well-visible in the sun or a flashlight.
Flashlight
The color is amazing! I’ll wear it in autumn. I think it’ll compliment any look thanks to its versatile color.
Must Have isn’t whimsical at all. Actually I’ve never had any whimsical colors by ANNY. The technical characteristics are great. The texture is thick and never flows out. I usually apply 2 coats. I’ve never noticed this product with streaks or bubbles. I’m accustomed to wear it for 4 days, it might have stayed longer but I just don’t like wearing it more. During these 4 days the product looks stunning: no chips or blemishes.
And the last is my favorite! № 047 The Answer Is Love.
Daylight
For me that’s one of the most luxurious colors that could have only been imagined! It’s almost black color that looks vampy red/purple. The color is chameleon which is usually compared with the Taboo by Chanel. (One day I’ll buy this one too). Honestly, I would have never bought The Answer Is Love if I hadn’t seen the swatches online. I used to think that it was a common dark marsala color with red shimmer but I was so wrong. Now this color is my fave. Look at the color changes in different lights.
That's stunning, isn’t it? I mean in the sun or a flashlight the smart and strict color turned into the color of space skies with an abundance of pink, purple and blue shimmer stars to it!
Flashlight
The technical characteristics are as great as the color! The Answer Is Love is very easy to apply. It dries very quickly and never flows to the cuticle. I wear it for 4 days and there are never chips or worn areas. Well, the color is amazing. If you are dreaming of Tattoo by Chanel, then save your money and buy this one! It’s a worthy dupe, they all say that.
And now the promised review of the brush. All the ANNY nail polishes have a flat and thin brush. It’s very easy to work with giving the right coating to the nail plate. I find it uber convenient.
Let’s compare it with some other nail lacquer brushes that I own. So, the most convenient to work with is ANNY then the brush by Dior and the most inconvenient for me is by Orly.
I’m sure that I’ll soon expand my collection with some other nail polishes by ANNY. There are so many colors on my wishlist!
